This was a sleeper match! These two teams it seems are very evenly matched, and they made quite a few memorable moments. Speaking of sleepers, Sean Law and Jeremiah Washington were my sleeper picks for impressive players and they both did good work here today! Sean Law is a fast man, very fast, and he used that well all throughout the match. Jeremiah has a kind of hunting instinct that just bores down on his evader and he creates a lot of opportunities for himself to get the tag. But of course, I have to talk about Alec's sudden death evasion. The mind games are something I will *always* defend, but I think even the starting position was defendable! He has the option of either going to the high EQ area of the court (like he did) or if it looks like the chaser is going to cut that off, he can go to the ridge and around the front line. That's not as good a route, but it's serviceable. The first option gives him a good amount of momentum to go up the mountain like we saw him do, and if you have that momentum, the mountain can get you a good amount of space. Evan's evasion was fascinating to watch! I think if Joe had worked a little more on his quad crawling, it could've been a tag, but frankly, who expects an evasion to go that way? Good work from both teams in this match!

Josh Vigo of Antidote PK evades Sparsha Pun of HUB Parkour Training Center. Josh Vigo of Antidote Parkour losing balance but almost evades Jeremiah Washington of HUB Parkour Training Center. I love it when Captain v Captain is on the quad, Dylan Polin of HUB Parkour Training Center v Jeremy Guarino of Antidote Parkour. Sean Law of Antidote Parkour is so fast, he evades Dominic Chavez of HUB Parkour Training Center. Alec Reduker of HUB Parkour Training Center really needs that tag, It was super shove on Sean Law of Antidote Parkour out of the quad. Jornathan of Antidote Parkour almost evade Evan Beyer of HUB Parkour Training Center but he was caught. What a Monkey Crawl by Evan Beyer of HUB Parkour Training Center, leads him to evade Joe Savastano of Antidote Parkour. That makes HUB Parkour Training Center the only team for now that all members got an evasion. We'll see about 5 Borough if Bryce could get an evasion to make them the 2nd team that all members got an evasion. Jeremiah Washington of HUB Parkour Training Center evades Jeremy Guarino the Team Captain of Antidote Parkour. Now it's 2-2! I thought Jeremiah Washington of HUB Parkour Training Center would evade twice a row but Adam Cole of Antidote Parkour makes his first ever tag. Adam Cole of Antidote Parkour looks so determined right there. HUB Parkour Training Center v Antidote Parkour goes to Sudden Death! Alec Reduker of HUB Parkour Trainig Center standing right infront of the chaser Josh Vigo of Antidote Parkour! Alec trying to get in Josh's head. Alec Reduker of HUB Parkour Training Center starts on the middle of the quad. Alec Reduker almost got that Sudden Death Evasion but instead he got 16.9! Domimic (Chaser) v Sean (Evader), Sean needs to last 17 Seconds longer or Antidote Parkour get eliminated from Play-Offs! Boom! What a win for HUB Parkour Training Center they will face Going Nowhere Fast on Quarter Final 1 & The Unknown Project faces Hollywood Freerunners on Quarter Final 2, the winner of Play-Off 1 . #WorldChaseTag #WorldChaseTagUSA #WCT #WCTUSA #PlayOffs #PlayOff2

its funny you can tell that sparsha would be the best chaser here if it wasn't for the fact that he dos not go for leaps or big reaches. makes sense thou the dudes to focused on high level balancing and blitzing speed, but as he gets used to the quade he will be an absolute beast on the field.
@nystemy3 жыл бұрын
To be honest here, Antidote were the better team. Since the times each team were evading on each run is the following: ANT: 20 ANT: 18.8 HUB: 12.7 ANT: 17 HUB: 8.4 ANT: 20 ANT: 19.4 HUB: 4.8 ANT: 16.3 HUB: 20 HUB: 6.2 ANT: 5.5 (Antidote though seems to loose steam here and onwards...) HUB: 20 HUB: 11.7 ANT: 7.7 HUB: 5 Sudden death: HUB: 16.9 ANT: 7 ANT total: 124.7 (131.7 with sudden death) HUB total: 88.8 (105.7 with sudden death) Antidote were clearly the better team when it comes to evading. Taking on average about 40% longer to be caught, that isn't a tiny difference. To be fair here, the scoring system could be a bit better. If each team were always given an equal amount of runs chasing as evading, and then just summing up the total time evading. And give the win to the team that evades for the longest accumulated time, then it would be quite fair. In this match, it would even be a different team winning.

I'm left feeling that Antidote were the better athletes. So many of the Hub tags were in the last few seconds, and both of their evasions were insanely close. I was so mad when antidotepk lost, unfortunately they relied too much on Sean and Josh, I understand they were both the best on their team, but Jornathan coulda went to tag on sudden death, he literally got a tag in less than 5 seconds. Jeremiah peeped Joshua's strategy tho so he couldn't go on sudden death to evade, either Jeremy or Joe would have had to go, and having Adam more often would have benefited them giving them a rest and making him improve. Good game either way, props to both teams.
