I wish I could go back in time and show one of the creators how you can abuse the holp not being cleared to make a bombomb release out of bounds and push you to a spot that's technically a ceiling and not OOB so you can touch all 10 wall triangles of the pendulum you manipulated for 12 hours to get spawning displacement and land on top of the spinner, saving half an A press.

@@CrashCubeZeroOne the old 25h 0xA strat required PU usage in the lobby where fixed camera is disabled (this would crash on n64), and as such is only usable on VC releases, and since the best version for 120 star ABC is the n64 Japanese version (because of spawning displacement) this strat can't be applied to it. The new strat however allowed it to be run on n64, thus actually removing 1 A press, and is also less than an hour long

Related to the A button challenge: In the star Treasure in the Ocean Cave, what's stopping you from spawning the star and then backtracking to the beginning half of the level, grabbing a koopa shell, and then passing back over the loading zone to clone the star?

Difference in version. This is performed on the Original Japanese release of the game, which involves a few extra glitches which save a few A presses. The original version features different sound for the red coins, which was changed in every other version of the game.
