We are BACK in PARIS!! Our Travel to France and First Day in Paris Vlog

We are back in our favorite city! We were exhausted by the time we arrived, but it didn't stop us from fully enjoying one of the most beautiful days we've ever experienced in Paris. It was a perfect day to enjoy the spectacular beauty of Luxembourg gardens, which looks far different than when we were last here in the winter.
In today's video we're sharing our travel adventure taking a flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida through Chicago to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France. We arrived at Terminal 1, took the shuttle to Terminal 3, where we bought tickets for the RER B, which then took us directly to our stop at Luxembourg (about 50 minutes total).
Our hotel is located right around the corner from Jardin du Luxembourg, which is a perfect location for us. We hope you enjoy this first video of our trip to our favorite city on earth!

We are in Paris now also… in Latin Quarter at Hotel Louis ll until Oct 10 and then to Avignon for 3 days at Hotel Le Mirande… we did a food tour in the Marais yesterday which was fantastic! Enjoy Jules Verne. Wish we could do a dinner there… have done lunch and it was fantastic. We waited too long this time. Luxembourg Gardens so beautiful this week! Great music with your video.

So beautiful...my recommendation was Jardin du Luxembourg ..so happy...love that area. Why did you fly out of Chicago...didn't that lengthen your trip to like 10 hours? Both of you look so happy and peaceful being there. Sweet. 😊

Hello friends, I write you from Bordeaux and not Florida anymore! We LOVE it here. Different than Paris , but the people are the kindest we have experienced. We feel at home here. Though we have yet to see some of the cities you have and we have 2 kids under 13 so it does make a difference. Glad to see your videos again and looking forward to where you will live eventually! Hello! So glad you are enjoying Bordeaux. We have not been there yet and have heard wonderful things about Bordeaux. We totally get that kids make a difference. Our youngest is going to be 28 in December and is currently finishing up a graduate program and living at home. At 28, 34 and 36, our boys are still a significant factor in when we make the full-time move. The great thing about the kids being so young is that if you move sooner rather than later, the cost of schooling is much cheaper in France than the US. Unless of course, you have already moved. Not sure if that is the case. Either way, bonne chance and would love to hear about your progress moving forward.

Hi from NW Florida - Am curious about transporting your luggage from the airport to your hotel. Was there an elevator to get your bags to street level or did you take a cab to the hotel? Am asking because I noticed stairs just after the train scene. Thank you!

There was an elevator, but we didn't know it at the time....lol. Tony carried the bags up to street level (with a little help from some friendly Parisians) and then a few days later we saw where there was an elevator. We just didn't know it at the time.

My husband and I just arrived back home in New Orleans from our home in Croatia...it was so arduous and long and customs, lines etc.....you all must have had a break before filming, Im a Flight Attendant even, but traveling these days and these long distances can be grueling.
