Wow! These are great! Dont stop! I could watch forever. So many things you guys just uncovered. Love seeing interviews of wrestlers that i havent seen before. Especially hearing freshmen. Then seeing how they processed in college..ie Zain. Love the frat boy line! I did this what can you do? Competing amongst themselves...great stuff! Cael was so elite, that it doesnt matter if your in college or in NLWC he wants the best. Its not bcs he recruits which he does, but the best in high-school and world want to be apart of the best program around.

:34 I've taken my teams numerous times to Penn State camps and have interacted with Cael many times. The dude is freakin hilarous. He has a crazy hilarious dry sense of humor.

To talk on the rumor that Penn St doesn’t do a ton of conditioning, I could absolutely see that. I ran track in high school, our team won state my senior year. I was a distance runner but I can say that we did not just run for miles and miles on end. Our coach had certain days that we would work on certain aspects of our running technique. Some days we did shorter, faster paced routes where we worked on our conditioning and pace. Some days were easy, light jogs with long routes and our purpose was to focus on our running form. Some days, we had long, intense runs that forced us to endure high lactic acid buildup. So on different days, we had different practices to focus on pace, or form, or finishes. No other schools around us worked their distance guys like that but there was a difference in performance. I can absolutely see Penn St doing something similar. Burnout is a real thing in terms of conditioning. Going 100% every day isn’t as beneficial as people think. Working smarter, not harder, is far more beneficial.

I hate that they are so fucking good in every single way and that they land every single move and scramble and make it look so effortless and they are so loosie goosy like they just woke up from a nap and just fucking rocket thruster double into people with perfect technique, it almost tricks my eyes, like when something is moving so fast it makes it look like its standing still. It is like they see things the way Toby McGuire saw that punch coming in the first spiderman. Just fucking wild dude, the way they put it all together and sequentially flow from one thing to another non stop is so unreal to me it looks like black magic. I wish I could have looked 1/40th that amazing when I was wrestling. FML. Awesome.

Amazing series. Where have these kind of docs been???? They still never answered the question on what they're doing to get their guys to be so good. Everyone knows the other coach's styles, it's just crazy that no one knows or has a pulse on exactly what Cael is doing.

Cael’s probably gonna coach another 12-16 years let’s say they win half (probably more lol) of those championships he’d end up having between 17-19 ncaa championships as a coach to go along with his 4 individual championships WTF❗️

Someone from my highschool beat Joseph to win his NCAA championship in 2019... Mechi Lewis... Probably spelled his first name wrong... We had the same head coach in highschool but I was there about 20yrs before him... I was a decent wrestler for highschool and got 3rd my senior yr.. but he was a beast and won a few titles... And we are only a group 4 school with about 75 kids per grade... But in NJ they don't do that group BS in states as it should be..it's stupid to have divisions at state for highschool..

When you have the opportunity to reclute the best prospects from around the country any one can seem like a great coach

he's actually said in interview before that they dont really recruit. They just take the kids who come to them and show interest. im sure they do a little bit of recruiting, but people want to wrestle for a coach as good as cael, because he produces results. You must be an Iowa or OSU fan
@kawikajones94367 ай бұрын
@@evanatkins9245 yea, Mr. Rodriguez doesn't know what he's talking about(above). Kids grow up dreaming of going to Penn State because of Cael and what he's done for wrestling there and not just kids from PA! The other thing is that Pennsylvania is the best recruiting hotbed for wrestling in the country. I grew up wrestling in PA and the wrestling culture in PA in the 70's was big and is only getting stronger each and every year there.
