We bought one of the very FIRST 2023 Chevrolet Corvettes and got it in less than 5 months !

In this short video we pickup our new 2023 Corvette Coupe that we ordered from Matick Chevrolet of Redford Township Michigan. From the date we placed the order to arrival at the dealership, it was less than 5 months.
I also point out a couple of "easter eggs" that Chevrolet put on the car to indicate that 2023 is a 70th anniversary of the Corvette.

Congrats on the car. I have a 2023 on order. I wish I would have done some research first. My dealership promised to sell me a ZO6 for MSRP for 2 years, then jacked up the price by $50k at the last second, so I was out of the market. I just put an order in for a '23 Stingray 2LT, Mag ride,, nose lift. Mine is torch red, but I wish I would have chosen rapid blue now 😭 Anyway congrats again.

Got my '22 in 3.5 months at MSRP......Built on 3/7/22. Big dealers are not always the answer. Mine came from a small dealer.

@@FindtheRightRoad Mine is the same color good choice! I was on lists at 3 top 10 volume dealers for Corvettes and none could get me a car as fast as the small dealer I found. It just takes detective work and a lot of phone calls to get one of these machines.

My buddy has a 2020 in Matrix Gray (wouldn't be my choice) I've driven it. Whole different experience regarding the balance & handling. Don't wreck it on the track. Lol

Did you place your order with Matick on January 12, or was that the day GM accepted the order?

GM did not accept any orders into its system for 2023 models until I believe March 24th. January 12th is when we gave the order to our sales guy at the dealership.

@@alexchapman6255 When I placed the order, Alan gave no promises when it would arrive. When I saw him at a Corvette event in April, he said I should have no problem getting it "sometime this summer". We were both shocked at how quickly it arrived. Must have been something about our configuration that put it up front in the build order. It is not highly equipped: 2LT, Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, Yellow brake calipers and yellow seat belts. Nothing more. No upgraded wheels, seats, no carbon fiber bits...

That would be the black exhaust tips you're referring to (a $395 option I believe is the cost).

Does Matick Chevy sell at MSRP? I ask because in California, there's no dealer selling at MSRP. They ALL want $25K - $40K over MSRP. I'm on the MacMulkin list waiting 12 months just to order.

Yes. They only sell at MSRP and they can drop ship your Corvette anywhere in the continental United States (at least I think that is the case). I would call Alan or send him an email and explain your situation. See what he says. (But he is on vacation this week and part of next...just so you know)

I see you have the headlight sensor issue that alot of Late 22's and early 23's have. Your headlights are staying on all the time in auto, even in daylight.

@@FindtheRightRoad Sensors are on national back order unless you dealer can find one somewhere. GM has not fessed up to the problem yet. I bought one of the last two sensors in Texas and installed it myself in a couple minutes. Fixed the problem. Warranty is free but the sensor is cheap and didn't want to tie the car up sitting at dealer.

As the video shows....it is definitely a 2023. Production began May 23rd. (You can google that). And it clearly has two spots that say it is the 70th anniversary of the Corvette.

Awesome color ! My cousin picked up his 2022 C8 in January believe it’s the other blue (non metallic). He also has a metallic gray C7 thinks it’s a 2015 or 2016. I just started saving for my 2017 C7 Stingray non Z51, 7 speed manual 2LT. Hopefully a one owner and well taken care of. I’ll be cherry picking one w. no mods. By September 2024 I’ll have my down payment saved up and will finance the remainder this way my monthly payment will be about the same as I’m saving every month towards it. Looking at 2017’s because those are the last years w 18/19 inch front /rear rim setups (non Z51’s) and apple car play

To each their own. It is a 2LT so it is not a base model. But no upgraded seats and no carbon fiber. This car was spec'd to try and keep the cost down and focus on what was important TO US: Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, 2LT...
