My family has an amazing time together and then I meet you back at the house to fillet a red grouper, then in the kitchen to cook a scamp grouper!

This video is definitely a movie in the making. It bought tears to my eyes.. fishing, crabbing, claiming, harvesting muscles in Long Island on the Shinnecock Canal, Big Pine , and Marathon in the Keys. Right under the Bridge in Marathon is where I caught my first Red Snapper. I didn't know that everyone who no longer be alive 40 years later. God I sure miss that lifestyle and family fun. I'm transferring 18 hours away from home to Florida Tech in Melbourne in August and will miss these kind of memories with my family, and especially my dad. He's not able to get out and go fishing like he used to. Made me tear up when yall did, So blessed. Here's to hopefully you not having to wait so long next time for a family fishing trip. This is awesome. Got me choked up too. I did only minor fishing as a very young kid, for a very short time. I didn't get to fish again until I was 32 years old....charter out of Cape Hatteras on the sound side. Didn't catch much, mostly sea robins and puffer fish, a few flounder (out of season, they went back). Only kept the puffer. Someone on the docks cleaned the puffer for us, and a friend fried them up, and it was the best ever. I wish I could do that every day, take the family, eat what we catch. I dream for a life like that. But we don't have much money, both kids are special needs, so a life like that will never happen for us. The best I can do is save up and do it as a vacation activity every few years or so.

It's all about family and fun and you just proved to all of us. Emotions say a lot. Fished in the gulf w/ wife and her mom and dad years ago. Everyone was catching except me. After the third spot the captain had only my line in. To the bottom and 1 up bam, red snapper. later I caught a grouper. father i law owned a motel, restaurant , coffee shop and bar, Del Prado and Cape coral pkwy, whole city block. The chefs cooked it up for us. When I watch your channel it brings back memories.
