@@MildMisanthropeMaybeMassive I've only gone surface level deep looking into this, looking at bits of recorded accounts and into the mentioned tribe, but everything I've seen is just Twitter/Reddit/TikTok speculation or conclusions based off of very little evidence or straight up false information. The tribe he's registered with (apparently) is unrecognized and just a bunch of verryyyy white-looking people; not just pale skin but blonde hair, blue eyes. BUT this doesn't mean they aren't actually indigenous as there is a long history of mixed indigenous peoples like the Metis as well as unrecognized tribes. And this also doesn't mean at the very least that Ian Ousley isn't mixed and whose family is just registered with a fake tribe out of ignorance. It's all just speculation and we won't really know unless there's been hard evidence saying one thing or the other. What I'll say from personal experience is that Ian Ousley does look at least mixed and native people I've known have been widely varied. Some looking typical, others mixed, and a few straight up Eurocentric. Also there's the surrounding cast -- I'm asian and asian experiences will always casually pop up in conversation with my friends so I imagine that if Ian Ousley were talking with the other native cast, he'd stand out if he just couldn't relate so someone would've said something unless they just don't care or PR (or whatever) are just hiding it but that's just conspiratorial.

I also feel the need to point out that Azula doesn't lose it until Season 3. Season 2, she's scary due to her actions, but she's very logical and controlled. Her turning point is the Boiling Rock, and only after that does she go kinda nuts. It always ends up that she's reduced to only the final Agni Kai. Canonically, Azula is a genius, just one pushed too far to try and reach impossible expectations.

Yeah, she is "one hair out of place" all the way until boiling rock. In the sense of her skill, and when her mental health deteriorates she also loses her skill and tactical efficiency, she loses to a way weaker opponent by a tactical blunder. Moving in when she could keep her distance.

My hopes weren't very high for this but after seeing this trailer and all the characters from June and her mole to Jet appearing to do a one for one move set from the cartoon and of course seeing Bumi all while hearing that music got me really hyped. Also they're probably going to go through all of book 1 b/c the fire nation ship at the beginning of the trailer looks like Zhao's flagship for the invasion of the northern water tribe.

I think Azula will likely just be part of the episode where they show how Zuko got his scar. I know the episode about their past is in season 2, but maybe they'll want to show it earlier so that new viewers get to understand Zukos character much earlier on. In the original series it isn't really until season 2 that you start to root for his character, I think it'll change here. We shall see

For the german dub, the original dub VAs returned. My friend showed me the trailer in german, and i was like "wait ....thats kataras german cartoon voice.....holy thats sokkas OG voice......." And i lost it when zukos german VA returned. Zukos german voice is very different from dante basco's voice, but its still a very awesome voice. A voice i heard a lot throughout my childhood. And to hear the OG german zuko return, really made me happy
