My "test drive" was from his house to his bank to deposit the check. 13 hours...it was flawless and the longest I ever went in a car without having back pain. We had all of our stuff packed into my VW TDi sportwagon, including two extra spare tires on the last trip (we were thinking of driving up the Dempster to Tuk, but didn't). Last I heard they actually made it so you can drive the whole way since then . Average winter snowfall of 24 ft , and my dad owned a Ski-Doo dealership .

"Especially in a Corvette?" The Corvette is one of the more comfortable cars out there. At least beginning with C5. And you are correct, the Corvette is just a car. Drive it! I put about 10K a year on mine, only because I live in Michigan and I get stuck in snow. I used to drive with a snow shovel in the back, but finally relented and put it away once the snow started falling. I know a lot of people who have garage queen Corvettes and Porsches. That's stupid. But it's not only cars, people are that way about guitars, too! They'll buy an expensive guitar but be afraid to play it.
