My husband and I love going to disney by ourselves, and we are old. But we also love going with grandkids when they can go. We love it. Don't feel guilty, don't let anyone bring you down. People should keep negative opinions to themselves, sheesh.

My daughter hit her head on her beds headboard when she was 3 years old.......it bled sooooooooo much. We went to emergency and due to the fact it was highschool football season we had to wait thru all their injuries,,,,,,,until I got upset! My husband passed out first in the ER room when she was being wrapped up for stitches and then I passed out when the stitches started. She came out 10 minutes later happy as can be because they gave her .....her first candy sucker! Thank GOD nothing like this ever happened again and now she is a doctor!

My son had the same thing happen when he was 4. He climbed up to sit on the back of the couch when my back was turned, and he fell back and hit his head on the brick fireplace. Scary but did what needed to be done right away. I appreciate & identify with Zach's instinct to get done what needs to get done before exploring my emotions about it later. Solution-oriented, yeah! I think I get that primarily from my Mom (who panics about other things), and also my Dad. Good job, both of you!!

I hope Jackson is doing better. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Poor guy. I recently badly sprained and bruised my left ponky. Dogs leash training incident. Long story short it's still swollen and hurts almost three weeks later. I went into the er because I thought it was broken or at least dislocated. X-ray says just bad sprain and contusion.

I haven't even finished listening yet, but I am very much someone to avoid the ER if I can. The first time one of my kids had to get stitches, my husband was freaking out, and I was dismissive, so I asked the pediatricians nurse on call on the phone, and she told me that if it looks like you could put the thin part of a quarter in the gap, it definitely needs stitches. This was one of the best pieces of advice I have ever gotten in determining if stitches are needed. It is really easy to freak out bc of the amount of blood but it has a lot more to do with the actual injury. Y'all did great!

The year Jess graduated high school school we were out at my in-laws for the party and Kaleb at 17 went riding a go cart. I started hearing someone saying he crashed. I looked his way and he's walking to us laughing his head off and blood running down his face. I was so thankful he just needed super glued. You would think as a nurse I wouldn't panic but lordy be. If he ever drove anything like that in the last 13 years no one tells me. Lol

So so impressed with you Tori for letting Jackson tell what happened to him, it’s assessing his memory if he might have been knocked out. Or have a concussion or whatever The staff can tell if he is talking ok. Eye movement is ok. Moving his head or limbs ect. Vomiting 🤮 or dizzy. Ect 2) as much as we don’t like to think of it. Parents do hurt their kids so that’s another reason they want to hear the child’s opinion at all times. So any parents around please let your child tell the story. It’s for a reason. They want to know if there r other problems. Even if the child starts crying when he tells what happened it’s ok, most nurses will say god you r so strong and brave. So thank you for telling me. Some staff will even make the parents leave the room if they keep interrupting. We want to hear what the child has to say. So parents let the child tell the story. Even Tori your little girl can talk and say what happened you might have to tell what she is trying to say but it’s important.

My kids were born in Anaheim. We had a business across the street from Disneyland. Back then, they would give 2 free passes plus some discount tickets for employees to us. So we took them there quite a bit. Depending on their age, I know that they only can handle what is age appropriate. As toddlers, they were just as happy to go to our local amusement park or the playground! Everything else was just crowds and lines and HOT (or raining). For most families now, it costs a fortune to go there! Especially to travel, hotels, meals and park passes can add up to a month's paycheck. Or more! So I get it, they are too young to go and appreciate it, since they can't experience it all. Tori grew up going, it's her happy place. My daughter is the same, she just went for her 40th birthday, for a week! I'm sure they will take them when they all can enjoy the experience. Zack and Tori, you're doing great! Parenting is very confusing, sometimes. I'm proud of you for owning up to your pits and peaks! ❤😊

We started calling my niece a frog when she started learning to crawl. By the time she was learning to walk, when she would stumble or fall somebody would holler "frog down" and encourage her to get up and keep going. Fast foward... Lil Miss 8yo fell in the driveway playing on her scooter with friends and walked up the hill of a driveway crying and into the house and hollered "frog down, but I need a bandaid" when she needed wound cleaning, bandaids in three places and some Tylenol.

Took my son to Disney at age 6 and he was so hot and miserable ... I really don't think he had much fun... because he was so grumpy it made it difficult for me to be into it. Later when it was time for my girls to go... I let their dad and aunts and uncles and cousins take them, and I stayed home... Just not into hearing so much complaining and too many people! I am very HAPPY that Tori enjoyed herself at least a bit and didn't have to contend with all that other stuff.

55 years ago, our Uncle brought my brothers and I a little 90 Kawasaki. One day my brother 10-12 Years old was riding the small motorcycle. It was out at the farm and there driveway was almost a mile. Our cousin who was 17-20 years old , was on the back of the bike and my brother was driving. Our cousin ask if he could drive the bike and my brother thought because cousin was older he must know how to drive. When they got up to the house our cousin crashed the bike. Everyone was worried about cousin ( who had a lot of medical history) . The hospital was an hour away. My brother went to my mom and said Mom I’m bleeding, at first mom said your cousin is hurt we are worried about him. My brother then said mom I was on the bike too. My mom was like where are you hurt. I think both was ok, but it was the crazy time.

News Tori, you are a woman. You will grow out of it in your 70s. This was one of your funniest episodes. You had me laughing with you. It's contagious. I do think it is good for Americans to be aware of our "feelings," because we are a controlled society of people, we don't release a lot of emotion. The world actually notes that about Americans; so I think it is good when Americans recognize they have a right to their feelings, and saying they are "hurt."
