Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I recommend only doing this with small cannons since the battles would become more skill and less one shot. maybe add hoverpads as well or do it in the air.

@Luke Bopp True but the rounds ended up being really short and it was pretty much one shot one kill. The battle would be more intense if you had like 4 small cannons and had to actually hit a certain part of the tank instead of just hitting someone and winning.

Every time you guys have an episode that involves boats or weapons I want to see you try From the Depths. It's a block based building game, like this one, but with way more detailed weapon and water mechanics (though you can also make land and air vehicles of various sorts). Also, that black and red camo reminds me of my Chrome Hounds days. Man, I really miss that game. I'm shocked that no one's released a mech game like it in all this time.

I'd love to see you guys do some of these where you try to use more logic and moving pieces. I think it'd be really cool to see some auto tracking/adjusting cannons, or have multiple cannons spread out with some logic to not shoot each other (if possible), that type of stuff. Also, cannons feel so strong. Trailmakers is awesome, but it's so hard to make anything tanky. Maybe doing a bit longer of a time frame and building some really big battleships would be a good way to use cannons, cuz then you'd have to take out enough parts to make someone sink.

deEvolution race idea: (yes, again) Everyone has 5-10 min building a craft. And race that. (Or just start with a regular vehicle) After a race, the 3rd gets to add, delete or rearrange a set number (x from now) of parts on the 2nd's vehicle, so does the 2nd on the 1st's. (the first gets to see the changes...idk) After that the original owner gets his creation back he can edit controls, or set buttons, but in 'visual' changes only can do x--y on his craft. [y is a number between 0 and x] There could be rules about not deleting seat or powercores (maybe only you can change them but not delete), and not make changes like sideway wheels, or thrusters, wings etc.

This was really cool! can you guys do this again but then just normal build time and no evolution and with Moonbo with 2 teams and on the danger zone map in the mountains. cuz then u can use artillery. And each team has a beacon but it's behind a rock or something so you can't just use artillery for it and when ur beacon is destroyed you can't respawn or repair anymore. Last team standing wins the round.

2 things about armored warfare that never evolved into this video. 1, angled armor is good. It's better to deflect oncoming fire than to try to flat-face take it all on. Even though there aren't armor pieces that are set on an angle, even the aerodynamic wedges that kosmo kinda utilized would do something. 2, I'm surprised one of them didn't go for something like the Panzer II. Those things had dual AA guns in their turret instead of big cannons. In otherwords, I'm surprised none of them ditched the large tank cannon build and go for a witherer lots of small guns build.
