Just FYI for Macky. Last year I thought I saw Carter at his all time. But I was wrong, he was/is even more "insanely" strong this year!! So staying with him as much as you did shows your skills! Well done at ST6.

I wonder if Carter is even human? Doesn't seem that to me given how much and how serious Macky trains (and Syd of course)

Thank you for your sweet, honest, kind and inspiring videos. I really enjoy watching your ride and compete. You have great respect for your competitors and support for the community. I don't race MTB but enjoy the way you show how proper sportsmanship is. It is not only good but brave that you also show everyone when it doesn't go as excerpted like a crash, where your handlebars is twisted and you are low on carbs and it seems like the world is against you. It's so easy to cut away from doing editing. And sometimes you wonder why some channels have more then 1 Million sub. When they don't share anything of value. I was surprised that your guys haven't passed that limit already. Thanks for being you!

For Syd and Macky: (To the tune of "The Distance" by Cake) Reluctantly crouched at the starting line, Adrenaline's pumping and thumping in time. The green light flashes, the flags go up. Churning and burning, they yearn for the cup. They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank, Fuel burning fast on an empty tank. Reckless and wild, they pour through the trees. Their prowess is potent while ignoring battered knees. But she's riding and striving and hugging the berms. And thinking of someone for whom she still burns. SHE'S GOING THE DISTANCE! SHE'S GOING FOR SPEED! HE'S ALL ALONE (ALL ALONE) IN HIS TIME OF NEED. BECAUSE SHE'S RACING AND PACING AND FINDING THE LINES. SHE'S FIGHTING AND BITING AND RIDING THROUGH THE PINES. SHE'S GOING THE DISTANCE.

@sydandmacky2 жыл бұрын
We've considered it, but we tend to prefer courses that are on the more technical side where the Lifetime events are on the less technical. We may end up doing some of them at some point, but not likely that we'd end up doing the whole series.

I want to know how often you race Carter, who he is, and is he a pro? Also what the competition looks like for Sid. It would be cool to see where y’all stand over the season and who y’all consistently race against.
@sydandmacky2 жыл бұрын
We don't end up racing the same people very often because we race such a mix of events. I had raced Carter earlier in the season at Moab Rocks and again at whiskey off road (although I didn't realize it at the time). After this race, he went on to finish 2nd at a very competitive BC Bike Race so he's obviously in really good form right now!
