Fun fact: On the bandcamp site for the “???” track, if you mess around with the audio a bit, you would notice that it’s actually South playing but with Pico’s vocals! This most likely means that we will be playing as Pico in the next update!!

I used to play one handed when I started and did for a year until mods started getting more and more intense so I learned two handed (DF JK) if I were you I'd learn two handed it makes the game so much more fun and satisfying to play

Well, if the devs actually never delivered, we all could've sued them, after all, it was mainly the comunity's money that was put into this game And, game development can be quite exhausting (specially for an indie project), so I'd say 4 years was a good amount of time to bring something of quality Heck, they got a music composer from a fighting game called Tekken for some Erect remixes, so, to me that's a pretty clear indication that the devs were taking this seriously since they gathered those 2mil dollars

From my understanding, there's like five people working on it while the mod community has whole teams working on them and producing better results in significantly less time. Mario's Madness V2 took over two years to make, and it'll likely remain better than anything the Funkin' team cooks up.

​​@@tonysonic456Well, my guess exactly is that they didn't want to be like the modders lmao Sure, the modders have a lot of people behind the high-quality mods, and with many hands it takes less than the og game to get done... said mods have often been canceled bc of awful work conditions, leaks, internal discrepancies and other issues So I guess the devs wanted to play it safe with the original main 4 devs, and the other 11 people of trust they've been hiring Edit: Also, don't be so pessimistic of what the new stuff will be had in the next update, sure the mods have kept us at a high standard of quality, but I'm also sure that the devs know that, so whatever they had planned will probably have some influence from certain mods so that we all end up satisfied with the new stuff Not to mention that they clearly stated that this next update called V Slice will only be a fragment of the full thing

You just gotta make sure whoever you're hiring as a clean history and is a capable worker.
