Hi indie people! We finally got married to the love of my life, Nicola. We've been together for nearly 8 years and she is the whole reason I even got into KZbin and made this KZbin channel. I owe all of this to her and I wanted to chat about the wedding day and how I felt about it all.

Hello indie people, I'm Andy and I have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I make videos on autism from the perspective of an autistic adult. Sharing my autism experiences to help other autistic people and autism families to improve their understanding of autism.
This channel is focused on raising autism awareness & acceptance of autism. To try and change attitudes towards autism, to educate people about autism for those who are new to the autism world.

I'm not trying to be mean to Dan because I like him and his stuff too, but what I enjoy more about yours is we actually get to know YOU and there's just something, at least to me, that makes me feel a bit more of a welcome on your channel, faster pace, and sometimes just entertaining content. Dan is strait forward on autism content and I feel like you vary it up more. Just my opinions and, again, I'm not saying he's bad, I like him too, but these are just my opinions. Aww honestly it's noticeable to me that I look happier and sound it too. Yeah with the Dan thing, I can't remember how I got into it but at the end of the day, we are just doing our thing and it's not a competition. I like what he does and how he does it but I also like how I do things do. He did help me massively when I wanted to take KZbin more seriously and I can't thank him enough for that. But I know what I like and how I like to make stuff so that's how I'm going to keep on doing it 👍 Thanks again for your support Elisa for not just me but Dan also as he does deserve it!

Awwwww! Congrats! I hope you two have many happy years together! Oh my gosh! I know exactly how it felt with the whole "Gotta be separated before the wedding" thing. I didn't like it. I got married four years ago to my husband. and just waiting for the night to pass was not fun. I couldn't sleep well. Maybe it's cause I missed him being nearby, snoring away while I stay up for a few hours ( Like I am now. lol) But, it was worth it when I got to see him in his wedding Yukata, I wore a kimono myself, and got to be reunited with him once more. Again, Congrats to you and your wife. Don't think of it as "signing your life away", but as finding that person that you'll want to share everything with, go on new and fun adventures with together, and just want to be with forever. Thanks for the comment and of course we can get married, it's not like we can't or not allowed to. To be frank being autistic doesn't have much to do with it. Nicola loves me for me and yes being autistic has it challenges, it also has its positives. People who are autistic diagnosed or otherwise deserve to be happy just like everyone else.

But with the people, do you not have a max amount you want to invite? We had a max of 60 for the day time plus 60 on the night. So we just invited people we wanted to have there... That's ultimately what you have to think about. If you don't have a max number, maybe setting one could be good and then you can figure out who you want to invite.

Congratulations to yourself and Nicola on getting Married Andy! 🎉 I bet it’s a big relief in some ways after waiting - to be married now, I can imagine it could well have been stressful having to postpone things etcetera. Glad you had a lovely day with family and friends, finally. Andy, come back and do the content you want to do and how you want to do it, when your ready to do so. There’s no rush or pressure, it’s got to be something you enjoy otherwise it won’t be sustainable for you, it might burn you out frequently and you (or I) wouldn’t want that for you. Sometimes, we have to prioritise and those shift and have to adjust with life and in time - and that’s okay - your mental health and real life come first. The people that are here that want to be here will still be here, I’ll be one of them.
