This is a nice rest stop off the freeway near the turnpike. It’s nice that they have this over night stay for truckers and Rvers. It’s clean and places to eat. Full hook ups. What more can you ask for. I would stay there for $200.00 in a heart beat. Thank you Izzy and MJ for this review.

We were very surprised along Interstate 40, Roland, Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino is right along the interstate, RV lot is separate and distanced from the regular parking lots for cars and trucks. Complete electric, sewer and water hookup completely free! Very nice, we took a leisurely walk across the property to go inside, bought delicious warm soup, all the beverages are free. Clean restrooms. We will stop again. Only caveat is first come, first served for hookups, but plenty of parking without hookups also.

I have used the rv sites at the west side of Ohio multiple times when traveling to Michigan or Indiana. Very convenient and clean. Easy in and out. And easier to dump there than at a lot of state parks.

Excellent concept for us traveling RVers, easy in, easy out right on the route. Only improvement needs to be all pull throughs. $20 is a score.

I remember our move from Ohio to Cali (single mom with 3 small kids) and I will say that staying at truck stops overnight felt very safe We towed our minivan on a flat bed behind the Uhaul and slept in the minivan Our last night we were in a small truck stop in Cali and I had to back into a spot lol After painfully watching me fail a couple of times, a trucker asked if he could assist me (aka, I hopped out and he hopped in to get me settled in the spot) This is a definite good idea for those traveling on a road trip

We stumbled on one when we came back from Indiana after the liquid spring install, Sandusky County, Mile Post 76.9 rest area. It was very cool. We were the first ones there and only one other camper came in during the overnight. Like you said, super clean, nice facilities. I would for sure stay there again. More states should do this. Great review !!

I dont know why i'd need hookups for one night. But the crater rest stop outside of Flagstaff in AZ has a huge overflow lot that is nicer than the actual parking spots because its farther from the highway and theres a big rock structure between it and the road. The actual building is nice too, although nothing like the amenities of this Ohio rest stop.

We were at that exact rest stop on 9-21-24. When we pulled in at 2AM, the first spot had someone taking up two places, and all the other spots were taken. So, being as late as we were, we parked next to an 18-wheeler. MASSIVE MISTAKE. At 6AM, we were woken by what felt like an earthquake. The semi next to us pulled out and didn't make the turn wide enough, dragged our truck and RV ~50 feet, and took off. Ohio state trooper was at the rest stop, but we couldn't get a tag or description of the truck. The trucker's camera across from us we're unwilling to share. We had underinsured and uninsured coverage, so our insurance company covered it, but the damage almost totaled our truck. Lesson learned. Never park overnight next to an 18-wheeler. If I could do it again, I would have driven adjacent to the gas pumps and slept until the police asked us to move. Also, we should have stopped sooner. I was a bonehead trying to get too far on the first day.

We have stayed at the one at the west end of the Turnpike. Same set up. We pull a 36 ft TT so we had to disconnect. But worth it. Starbucks in the other location.

How were your tolls? Is Nellie considered a class 3 there? Tolls are always a huge topic amongst RV'ers. Many have no idea how much it's gonna cost them.

I am well aware these stops and that one is only about 20 miles from us. Our exit is 209 mile marker. We're 45 ft with a trailer so we park with the trucks.
