For episode 200 have you considered Jon Hamm?

I like the patreon ceo guy, he seems so down to earth and ethical, vs. like most soul crushing tech CEO people. I hope he stays that way, Patreon is so helpful for creators.

@@NickFish117 He made one of them .. maybe last season? I forget which one. But it was as part of his band Pamplemousse. Theres a short doc with Rhett and Link and his band talking about it.

He goes « You have no idea how crucial has “staying true to yourself” became » then doesn’t play and hires a touring guitarist while he stays home writing songs about the struggles of being a CEO 🫣
@Kushgroove2347 ай бұрын
You miss the point Hiring a guitarist and writing songs about the struggles of being a CEO is being true to his heart.

Pianist* The man has the responsibility of so many content creators/artists’ livelihood (patreon). He started his bands before he made patreon. If he could, he definitely would go play these tours.
@jjjjjjjjj30007 ай бұрын
@@NotDingse he is not responsible of their livelihood man. It’s like saying the makers of canvases are responsible of painters livelihood. Also no shade of being absorbed in CEO life, good on him, just commenting on his hypocrisy and soullessness. Also he’s no hero he’s just defending his position , if patreon closed tonight as there’d be 100 new platforms ready to do the same exact thing
@NotDingse7 ай бұрын
@@jjjjjjjjj3000 I was a bit hasty in my commenting. Of course he isn't solely responsible for their livelihood but from the interview it seems pretty apparent he feels a big responsibility. From the few clips i've seen of him, it's very apparent his passion is in music. 99% of videos he appear in on YT is music related content. But in this interview his role is the CEO of the business that funded and organized the last two episodes.
