Jason, I worked in a zoo (long time ago) our aviaries had welded cloth and roofing material over that. In case a windstorm takes away the roof, you got the welded cloth to keep your birds inside. Do both, be safe. None of us want Mary Carl too loose those rare birds.

Cog Hill Family, as you know we've been doing for some time now and some reason it's not getting old. I can only imagine how much you love care for and provide for your daughter ( Mary Carl ) seeing the compassion unconditional love and care you give the pets farm animals. So looking forward to seeing when the Home build has been completed and you all then settled in and normal daily routine and the Boss lady might then be home under the carport leisurely roaming the property making sure everyone is doing their own thing. I just wanted to add that I've seen where another homestead uses some of their chickens to spread and eat fly larvae from the Cow patty and you have lots of chickens 😉🥰

For the aviary, I like the idea of not aviary net, but the hardware cloth as well as corrugated plastic for double protection

The pandemic made it impossible to get back to Newfoundland the last couple of years; and then my Mom suddenly passing away in a grocery store has been very tragic for me. I never got to say goodbye and when I was allowed to go back home for the funeral we weren't allowed to the service. Life hasn't been the same. Cog Hill Farm has been a blessing this past year 😊

Everyone looks so happy and healthy and I adore the way you love on and speak for the animals. The music at the end of the videos is SPOT ON🥰 That food at that diner looked so good😋 Nothing like home cooked food. Living in Louisiana, I know all about that😏 I adore this channel and the Podcasts. The second I get a notification, I am here😍🥰😘 My son is an ornithologist at the Smithsonian and I can see MaryCarl doing something like that someday.
