Hey, spanish yardigan here. Spanish influencers are insane in terms of scope. Ibai in particular has become so big he is now a public figure, like, outside of streaming and gaming. Even my dad watches him which is, weird. He now appears occasionaly on TV and even has been an official caster for some very important football games. So yeah, a very deserved award I would say.

ohh yeah I didn't know anything about him but hearing all that makes it so deserved. us Americans are really self-centered and are oblivious to anything outside our bubble. also US culture has been the driving force of pop culture for so long, when something comes along and challenges it, we can't believe it. for example, KPOP has way better numbers than most of our own pop.
