The biggest problem with sanctions against Russia is that they can't really implement harmful sanctions because Europe needs Russia's oil, which is Russia's primary source of income. Some time ago, several European countries decided to make their entire energy policy with an inherent single point of failure who is a dictatorial madman. What could possibly go wrong?
