That would be nice. ❤ I was on choir and a youth director for a time. The most amazing sound I've ever heard was the last and the very true saving of my soul, yep 4th time was it. The voice of God's Harmony is absolutely amazing, so much so you can't handle it, you will pass out. I don't share this often, and I should. I know what happened that night, then again I don't. Later a friend asked me if i was menstrual? I said no, she told me she smelled it at my side. Washed by the blood, and I never looked back, ever. Apologies to be led to share right here right now. I'm near Sierra Vista, AZ, and its been horrible hot for weeks! I pulled all my veggie garden. We work outside before 9am and go inside after that. I keep water out for the wildlife and a soaker hose and shade for my chickens. Praying for monsoons!

Our family of 7 lives in a tiny house (640 sqft) We will build as we can afford. Being debt free is important to us. My parents have Whippoorwills at their home. I have none here. I love the calls of whippoorwills 🌺 I just adore the both of you. We are in our 60’s, I never knew we were homesteaders until I started watching KZbin! We’ve been living this lifestyle for over 40 years. It’s crazy. It’s just our life. But we are homesteaders on our 37 acres with our 1 acre garden! Our home is only 900 sq ft. We do have a three season front porch, it’s too cold in the winter.

Lori I wanted to share this with you. I was sitting on my friends covered porch alone smoking cigars on a hot Texas day. Right by a storm blew in. Thunder crashed as rain fell. I cheered it on then it all stopped and I said aloud "Thank you Father" and HE responded "I thought you'd like that". HE knew I'd like it but said "I thought" when HE knew. So humble

We start this week! However, we get a week off in October for fall break, and I enjoy being out when it isn’t as hot. It is too hot to be outside right now, so I might as well be inside at school now, and enjoy the better weather in October. We do get out before Memorial Day, so we finish before June.

Hey Mrs Lorie, way back in the 80s my cousin/ sister in law( we married brothers) went to work in our school lunchroom when her oldest went to kindergarten. That was back in the day when they really cooked from scratch. We talked on the phone every night and I love to hear what she did that day( for example-clean & chop 50 lb bag of cabbage) . After 5-6 years in the lunchroom , she became a teacher assistant in Kindergarten & when her teacher switched to 4th grade, she moved with her. After TA and driving the bus several years, she became the receptionist in the front office. After years there she got one of those office jobs that had something to do with attendance and payroll- certain teachers get paid from certain funds. She finally retired after 32 years but she works now 3 days a week at a local hospital checking in patients. Love her and love you & Mr Brown! Tell him we want to hear him sing! ❤

Worms love coffee grounds. I have saved and used the coffee grounds after making coffee for years and have had great results. The worm castings are so rich and very good for flower and vegetable production.

Mr.Brown I got stung recently when I was weedeating too! But I only got stung once, but it hurt! It left a big red then brown patch around it for a couple of weeks. Oh yes to the income, while you were talking I thought of so many things in just a couple minutes. If you have animals your gonna need feed, and a long with that there’s vet bills and meds, skills to process the animals, fencing. Gardening is going to take planting n harvesting times how to store n process the foods, fertilizer, tiller and tools. Money for canning jars, lids, utensils canners. Source of home heating and emergency power. Wells, septic, drain field. The lists go on and on! It is all possible and you’ll find what works for you and you’ll be thrilled. I am a truck driver and I grew up in southern Missouri are used to drive through and Imboden almost weekly Hearing y’all talk about all these towns that I’m familiar with but I know are up in the hills is fun.
