Crystal, I would get a rug for the entry hall. That way, guests can come in and the floor will not get so dirty. The house looks beautiful. I can not wait to see it all decorated. Stay warm. Take the time to get settled and make it your own. Welcome to your new home!

Wow! Congrats on finally being ‘home’ - it’s beautiful. Exactly how I felt moving into our forever home we built 10 yrs ago. So blessed and grateful- Still love our home so much. IDEA for your office- pull desk out 2 foot and turn in to Face the opposite wall! Then you can look out the window and face the doorway while you work- I could never have my back to the room- try it!!! Excited to see how everything comes together in the next few months!!

Your new house is beautiful, congratulations! A ruggable rug might be a great option for your family, especially with a pet and lots of trackable mud outside.

Can't wait to see what all you do!! If you have trouble finding a rug to fit your room that is the correct size try going to a local flooring and carpet place. You can choose a rug material you like, in the size and shape you need, and they can bind the edges for you! I did this in my last house because I wanted a large square rug and it was nearly impossible to find! Everything is looking super. I understand the emotions of moving into a new home. It's such a blessing to have a cosy home. Many are not as fortunate. It's nice to know other people loves their homes as much as I do!!! ❤🏡❤ Love your channel my friend!

Suggestion for the office. Put the desk in front of the window facing the door with your chair in front of the window. Put the two chairs in front of the desk facing the window possibly at an angle. Put the tall shelving unit to the side either where it is now or the opposite wall. Curtains hung as high as possible at the window to soften it and possibly two tall trees on either side of the window. A nice rug to anchor it all. That way the furniture is floating in the centre of the room and not pushed up against the walls.

Maybe you might like to have your chair behind the desk, then you would be able to see out your window and your door. Your house looks fantastic and I’m looking forward to seeing how you will slowly decorate and arrange your home ❤ So happy for you!!

Love your new house. Your office is so nice. Suggestion to put the desk in the middle of the room with your back to the window, looking out to the livingroom, chairs in each corner facing the window and a nice rug under the desk. Also, the boys room, not into having the bunk beds in between the window, no room for a night table. Would like to see it on the left side wall and the dresser on the window wall. More room for the boys to play. The desk would be great where you said, and a great wall for art. So excited for you and your family. 💜🇨🇦
