There is mixed information online about Ylang Ylang safety around dogs, but we are seeing reports of it being toxic via both skin contact and ingestion. We love all of our Beauty News family members, including those of the canine variety, so please take the best of care with products like this.

My dog gets groomed about once a quarter, and the goomer uses a "fragrance" at the end. It's always dog safe. Mostly it's to get the dog to smell like something other than "Dog" so it doesn't try to roll around in something stinky and dirty to cover its own scent up. Cause bunny hunting is apparently a thing firmly cemented in my dog's brain even though my dog has never caught anything.

I've literally never purchased a celebrity brand on launch. But I bought Dolly's lipsticks bc she's an actual *national treasure* here in the US. (Plus the colors look amazing.) ❤

My expectations for the Dolly lipsticks were low, but I bought them because I love her, and the price was right. I bought the lipsticks and tried them all, and they are actually really impressive! They are long-lasting but also not super-drying or matte. They are also not so thin that they creep beyond your lip border. All the colors are quite wearable for me - they aren't super pigmented, but the color is buildable. The cases do this cool thing where you press one end, and the tube pops out.

As a former BBW sales girl, I think the leather jacket candle will smell very masculine: leather and cologne maybe leather and pine. They used to have a leather scented candle that smelled good. It flew off the shelves at Father’s Day. Cheerio!

Not related to beauty but my dog is also allergic to grass. Cytopoint injections from the vet helped enormously. Probably as expensive as that fancy dog perfume but very effective. Great vid.

I got the Dolly lipstick in the pink color. Not as light and warm as the photos, which is a good thing to me! It's that creamy satin formula that you want to blot with tissue. A little bit of floral scent (it is from Scent Beauty), but no taste. I saw her in concert and all of her instruments were white and covered in rhinestones, so the packaging is on brand!

If you like vanilla perfumes that have a touch of floral, the newest flanker for the Gucci Flora "Gorgeous Orchid" is heavenly!!! I was honestly so surprised with how vanilla forward it is. I got a sample of it as Sephora yesterday, used it today and it's lasted without refresh for more than 10 hours so far. Thanks Beauty News gals! Take care :)

But he was very famous in Spain, especially for perfumes and accessories (the perfumes are still huge). Might give those cute blushes a go... love tiny (or oversized) makeup! On the note of sunscreens from AUS sold in the US; the formula will only be the same as long as all the ingredients/UV filters are FDA approved. You will notice discrepancies between formulas sold by a single brand in different countries if their governing bodies have not allowed certain ingredients.

I purchased the Too Faced Appley in Love palette and would give it a sold B+, the formula reminds me so much of the peach palette from back in the day. The shimmers are just ok, not super foiled, bjt the mattes are lovely and the shades make my brown eyes pop. The scent isnt overwhelming either, less apple more light sweet cinnamon spice. I give it a B+ but will probably use it for months 😂

I usually balk at celebrity releases but my daughter in law told me she has been using the Blake Brown and loves it so, I went to Target and tried the shampoo and mousse (conditioner sold out). I love the shampoo but so far the mousse is not doing much for me but my daughter in law loves it. Good product for reasonable price.

I tried the Naked Sundays physical sunscreen bc it's available in the main pharmacy in Canada now and I really like it! Still not my perfect sunscreen because the thickness is a bit much for me and I wish it was a bit less matte but I really enjoy it and I think the thickness helps with applying as much as you're supposed to.

I've got the Too Faced appley in love palette and to me it smells like a hot toddy/hot whiskey - very heavy on the honey and cinnamon. Not overwhelming, thankfully, but certainly not caramel!

That benefit release is deffo a 'copy' of PLouise's packaging. But they have definitely done it in a realistic way so that its different enough that nobody could say its an actual "copy"

My sister bought Jennifer Aniston's hair care brand Lolavie when she was overseas, and it's really good. I'm a Joico and De Lorenzo brand user, but I would definitely use it if was easily available here. (NZ) Not interested in Blake's brand at all. But the scents do sound nice. Brands bringing out products for the holidays now is too early. It should start closer to the end of the year., like November, not August. I like Mario's face products for the undertones he does. They never look orange on the face.
