The Citroën Jumper is a re-badged Fiat Ducato, so basically the RV that you just bought is pretty much the same cutaway chassis as the one you guys rented. The Volkswagen van that you looked at is called the second generation LT, which is a re-badged & re-engined T1N body Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Did you happen to remember what year that van was?

The two of you are the perfect example of how a loving couple should treat one another. Not to mention how beautiful Mrs. is and handsome Mr. is! My husband of 22 yrs. is building out our 2011 Ford E-250 with all of the solar to power an RV, but better to overdo than underdo. We can't stand up though, and that's a biggie for me. We have a stool we can roll around on for now, but, once these awful gas prices go down again, I'm insisting on a top so we can stand up. So far, the one we want cost about $5,000 plus installation. It'll be worth every penny. We've put so much into it already, I can't see living in a space I can't stand up in. I'm off topic. I am so happy for you to have found your new home!

Vans Europe wide are scarce, because of covid, everyone bought a van or camper so they could still get away from the lockdowns, and still travel safely! So expensive right now. In Germany, a good van is going to cost you easily 30-50 thousand euros!

You guys are so cute, smart & fun and I can so relate as we have a vintage camper in Spain and looking at properties to buy here! I think it is smart to go with a little bigger just like you did. Ours is a newly remodeled 94 cabover ford rimor & the size of a van ( for those small roads we all try to avoid) but sleeps 6 so gives us good room inside & perfect for Europe with a kiddo ( like we did nonstop for a decade) or as a couple. You made a smart choice!! I love the challenges on the road as it keeps one more alive & makes life a great adventure!! Once we had a challenge on a tiny ancient street in Malaga looking for a new violin for my 7 year old, but a bunch of guys just moved the tiny car out of the way together! lol There is always a solution!

Drew and Brittany: I have been looking at properties in Portugal. I used Idealista. I searched over all the middle area , porto to Lisbon and have a favorite list I can share if u like( my price range is lower but maybe u are still interested? I had specific things I am looking for. I also was Patron for Kaleigh and Jordan in Panama, also just found Max and Occy videos , also just realized Lee was connected to u all , i remember how sad I was , i live in cali 45min north of where she took her life. Frankly it feels weird and odd to randomly find each of u by just interests in van life , baja and now portugal I also thought a lot about property in Baja Sur. But I think Portugal is better , but I have not gone yet. I remember when u drove into Baja , paper work issue. Love Baja. But issues exist. Hi, I think it’s the same throughout Europe including here in the uk. Manufacturers don’t seem to be producing vans in the quantities seen prior to COVID. My hope was that manufacturing would be back up to speed by now. Fleet buyers have held off buying replacement vans holding onto old ones. I think at some point manufacturing will be back to normal and there will be a glut of used vans. When that will be is anyones guess.
