Pretty common here, yes. We pay for it ourselves, bring it with us to the next apartment or sell it to the next tenant.

Btw, side note, look around for white goods other than IKEA, you'll find that prices are quite similar...for example the dishwasher in the video is 850€, which is about the cost of a last model AEG dishwasher...the quality is much better outside ikea in general, but especially white goods :)
