We Took our 3 Engine 30HP Mini Bike to the Drag Strip

Our 3X Tillotson 212cc 3 engine mini bike goes to the drag strip! It turns out that this 10' long mini bike makes for a great drag mini bike chassis due to the extended wheelbase. The Tillotson 212 engines are purring nicely, especially after we bypass the Tillotson 212 governors. This mini bike's top speed is more than 60mph right now, but we're shooting for 70+ mph when we install three high performance stage 2 Tillotson 212cc engines.
Thanks for Watching!

A 3 into 1 exhaust would be really cool to see too! Be interesting to see if it effects the power band at all with the amount of exhaust scavenging it would produce
@Grannybang35
@Grannybang35 2 жыл бұрын
Considering the engines are not timed together the effects would likely be restrictive due to the large size of that exhaust, but if they all ran off of one 3 cylinder coil that could work well...

Love your work and videos! Now, a larger tire adds more rotational mass, which means the initial launch is harder to get moving but helps with the top end. That's why they invented wrinkle walls. Small diameter to launch, but expands for top speed. In your case, I would stick with a smaller tire and just work with the gearing to get that bottom number quicker. Just a trial and error thing and what you desire. Getting off the line is only the first part but also one of the most important. Maybe find a tire in the middle of what you have and work with the gearing

Had a similar "fuel starvation" issue with a 212 predator motor after bypassing the governor, go down the road wide open and it cut out like it was out of fuel. I found when i cracked the lid on the fuel tank i didnt have that issue anymore, it would catch back up and run fine again. Torque converters on all 3 of those motors would be badass

I have a suggestion that will help you guys save time and frustration in the long run. Take some angle iron and pipe, and make a bead breaker. Then take about 3 feet of 1/4" x 1" steel bar, grind and polish it down into some real tire irons. It should only take a day, and you may get a video out of it.
