The drummer's name is "JUNNA." She is a Japanese who has gained worldwide support for her overwhelming drumming skills. Her cover video of DragonForce's "Through The Fire And Flames" is what really made her famous. It caused a big stir around the world and has been viewed over 5.8 million times to date. This video shows her overwhelming technique, which shows off her skills to the fullest. The DragonForce drummer himself has also praised her highly. She is the best drummer.

Hagane are incredible band. Sakura is an incredible guitarist, composer. Junna is a beast on drums, she is 28. She has many drum covers and songs on her YT channel. She covered Dragonforce song Through Fire and Flames, and her cover was reacted to by Gee, the drummer of Dragonforce. And the GOAT of drumming El Estapario reacted to her praising her fills, how she added her own fills. Comparing her to Eloy. Nagi such a beautiful voice. She has a brightness, power to her vocals. They have just released second song Hero Time on YT. Sakura created Hagane in 2018. Bassist Sayaka joined early 2019.

I am 46 and have grown up) listened to hard rock/ metal all my life but over the past six months or so I have been listening to the Japanese bands, hanibie, band maid and especially lovebites and my mind has been blown away, the musicianship and especially the song writing, compositions are top notch, American metal needs to be put on notice lol better start practicing more cause all of the bands are crushing it🤟 and can't forget about the Monterey queens the warning 🤟

Thank you for featuring Hagane (pronounced HA-ga-neh). They have to be considered one of the hot, up and coming groups, though they had to go through a major reboot in 2023. They were originally a five-piece with dual leads; they have recently re-formed as a four piece (more on that below). The initial lineup came together in 2018, just as they were all finishing high school. Founding guitarist Sakura had been posting metal covers on youtube since she was 14, and gained notoriety as a technical beast with a taste for ferocious shredding. That is how most of the other band-members found her. Original lineup: Vocal: Chiemi Guitar : Sakura Yoshida (also writes and arranges most of the music) Guitar : Mayto Bass : Sayaka Drum : Kanako Takahashi (b. 2001) In 2019, Chiemi left and was replaced by Uyu. The band released three concert DVDs and a full-length album (“Code 9021”) during her tenure. In early 2023, the band announced the departures of three members-Uyu, Mayto and Kanako. They spent the next year rebuilding. They have re-formed as a four-piece, with the already famous Junna on drums. Junna was previously with Kakumei (later rebranded as Trident), and has a popular youtube channel where she posts hyperactive solo drum covers of metal songs. New vocalist Nagi has replaced Uyu. This is her first professional gig. Guitars: Sakura Bass: Sayaka Drums: Junna Vocals: Nagi Hagane are clearly playing in a similar space as groups like Mary’s Blood, Bridear, Nemophila and Lovebites-melodic, hard, heavy and technical. Early on, however, they developed their own signature sound, built around exotic scales, syncopated rhythms and the aforementioned high-octane shredding. The songwriting is mature, far beyond what you should be able to expect from a bunch of people this young. The new lineup have released an EP, “Life Goes On”, with five tracks including an instrumental. Despite not having the dual attack, it looks like they haven’t lost a step-Junna is insane as ever and Sakura is just on fire. Other bandmembers: Uyu already has her own band, which is largely focusing on covers of other metal groups, especially Babymetal. She is also working with Mayto on a project "Mana Diagram"-we’ll see if it turns into something long term. Both Mayto and Kanako have worked on other projects. They are elite musicians and should have no trouble landing with other bands if they choose to.

Great band. Junna is one of the best power drummers in the world. She will be 28 next month. Not sure about the other members. This band is still a new discovery for me, but I have followed Junna for a few years now. Their song Hero Time is my favorite so far by this new Hagane lineup.

Nice reaction. Great song. We have Nagi on vocals, Sakura on guitar, Sayaka on bass and JUNNA on drums. Sakura and Sayaka are original members, the others joined recently after previous members left. Tenka goken means 'five swords under heaven' and refers to five legendary swords of Japan which are considered national treasures. The next song to check out is Hero Time. It's a banger.

#TequillaJimmy #TheGringa Very Happy, you discovered HAGANE. This HAGANE 3.0 I discover them with the HAGANE 2.0 ( Sakura, Sayaka, Uyu, Mayto, Kanako) with the song BLACKCULT. In 2023. Uyu Vocal, Mayto rythme guitare & Kanako Drums leave the Band for personal reasons. I was sad. In Spring 2024 Sakura ( fly v guitare & founder)& Sayaka ( bass) annonce the arrival of Junna on Drums ( she's also support Drums of FATE GEAR) and NAGI on Vocal ( for Nagi i was skeptical, she was no expérience. When i see this MV . I had no more fear). Junna was in her highschool years in GIRLS ROCK BAND KAKUMEI a band know as TRIDENT ( with Asaka vocal+ guitare & Serina Bass+ backing vocal). Trident replace Junna with Nagisa on Drums. EX MEMBERS OF HAGANE Kanako support Drummer of PALENEØ. Uyu & Mayto are founder of MANADIAGRAM. No new for the 1st Singer Chiemi ( Demo only). HAGANE was founded in 2018 by Sakura Yosida, young prodige in guitare. She's finish university degree in March 2023. .... Junna is a fan of HARUNA from LOVEBITES. Hagane are super underrated and deserve more recognition. Junna is a tour de force. Sakura is an absolutely world class guitarist. I recommend their new song Hero Time, it’s even better than this one. Also the older songs (with previous singer, drummer and second guitarist) Black Cult and Super Villain are excellent

The other offshoot of Hagane is a band called Mana Diagram who are just as good. Mana Diagram have lead singer Uyu and lead guitarist Mayto formerly from Hagane.Try their song Glitter Wind. Both bands have a similar sound which is a bonus because now we have sort of 2 versions of Hagane version 1. They both have recent EP and record releases and both are really good. Unfortunately Mana Diagram cant seem to get the same recognition which is weird. Both bands should be on everyone's must see live list when travelling to Japan.

isn't it amazing how japanese girl groups have taken over the world ? this is easily my favorite new band since LOVEBITES hit the scene in 2016. drummer junna is a monster. she kicks so much ass that donkeys around the world have gone into hiding. wearing sunglasses. and there are so many more of these bands that are almost as good. i hope this trend never ends .i am old - 71 - and very glad i stuck around long enough to witness the japanese invasion. we had the british invasion in the early and mid 60's and the bands were great but nowhere near the technical ability possessed by these goddesses of metal.

I discovered them a few weeks ago, when I also found Mellows, and it's all good! (As we discovered later, that Mellows song, Candy Making, wasn't live in the end but I'd still recommend their album as it's all very fine.) I don't know anything about Hagane - apart from that they're making great music - but was surprised to see Junna is with them, who was KZbin famous for her amazing drum covers at a very young age and the videos of that are definitely worth watching for the skills on show and her joy in her performances.

I was one of those listeners of your reaction channel who recommended HAGANE to you. Now you should definitely react to HAGANE's "Hero Time" too, it's even harder and faster than tengagoken (in spoken language the two words Tenka and Goken are phonetically bound). Some more information in addition to what in the comments are already mentioned: Junna is 28 years old and about 150 cm "tall" - and an extremely nice and almost shy person (I had the chance to talk to her when she was guest drummer for Fate Gear on their Europe tour last year). But put this small person behind a drum kit and you get an outbursting volcano. To my perspective she is at least (!) on the same level as Lovebite's Haruna. Sakura (now about 26 years) and Sayaka (27 years) are the "old" members of HAGANE. Sakura is one of the female guitar heroes of the younger generation (the other two famous ones are Hal-C - spelled Haruka - from Asterism and Lisa-X now in the band KOIAI). Sakura is impressing not just because of her guitar skills but too because of her composition skills - she wrote almost every HAGANE-song, and as far as I now the lyrics too. And she founded the band at the very young age of 19. So, a really impressing person. It is sad that Sayaka (bass) is sometimes a bit overlooked - she is a tremendous bass-player as you can see on her KZbin channel. In this new line-up of HAGANE her bass together with Junnas drums are really a next level rhythm section. The singer Nagi is new in the business - but her "magical voice" speaks for itself. Maybe it takes a few repetitions in listening to realize how good she is! I think HAGANE has a huge potential to become world wide known - as Bandmaid, Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie. At least I wish them as much success as possible!

The only thing I don't like about Hagane is the revolving members. I hope this lineup sticks! They are a Power Metal band. Junna was TRiDENT's first drummer and at that time they were known as Girls Rock band Kakumei. I think she is childhood friends with TRiDENT's bassist, Serina and their vocalist/guitarist, Asaka.

If you'd like to react to the old formation of HAGANE, 'SuperVillan' and 'Black Cult' are highly recommended. This new formation has another MV that has just been released called 'Hero Time', I think that song is crazier than 'Tengagoken' here. Another band I'd like to suggest is STMLT (Stimulate/Stemirates). They're a heavy rock/metal band, the vibe is way different from this band, but they're awesome too. They have a new song and MV called 'ANTIMENTAL' if you'd like to try to react to them. They actually just released a live version of that song today, but I highly suggest you go with the MV first. Thanks for your reaction it's always fun to watch, Hagane was formed in 2018. This year they've got a new line with two new members Nagi- the vocalist ( never sung metal before) and the phenomenon Junna the drummer ( she got own channel you can check some of her covers especially Dragon force song through the fire and flames ) . So please check the other song Hero time. I think there was a video live version. I'm already curious to see your reaction. By the way Lovebites released the new live video Soldier stand solitarily from the new upcoming DVD concert, the Haruna speed on drums is out of this world ( some reactor mentioned is 195 BPM) and it's going for 5 minutes, the song is around 6 minutes.
