man i grew up in the church too, walked away a few years ago, weed took over like you have no idea. i couldn’t go a day without it. wake n bake was my motto. i’ve been sober for a couple days. fighting off lustful desires to have sexual relationships when i say everyday is a struggle. i mean it’s a struggle. i’m still a work in progress but i leave it all in the Lords hands. thanks to this i feel comfortable to talk about my situation, God bless y’all fr fr mane

Why not get a grip and take it into your own hands and make better decisions? Take responsibility for your actions instead of hoping you get guidance from an invisible man in the sky? Give that a try you'll feel better when you accomplish your goals!! And when you do you'll realise you can do it that you are strong enough to make your own decision to better yourself without having to rely on someone or something else to get you there, you'll feel empowered to achieve more knowing YOU did the things needed to change and that YOU can do anything you put your mind to, no need for the supernatural to get you where you wanna be! Get inspiration from others that did this and succeeded, honestly pal you'll be all the better for it, believe in YOU!!

I lived in the darkness for years, & I have a strong respect for people that never had to be there, or took it there. Especially young people with boldness & courage for the Lord. You had courage to live in the Lord’s will & that is so much harder than going to the darkness. It’s worth it, but it’s still hard. Even harder as a young person being manipulated by the world. Tell your testimony no matter how ugly , or pretty it looks!

I'm so glad to hear these comments, I have felt a connection to God since I was very little, I've never fit in to worldly things or even wanted them. I tried to party, because that's what everyone was doing and I felt like I wasn't normal, but all it did was make me realize that I didn't belong there, and I wasn't raised in church or had a crazy radical Christian family, but my mom did Bible studies with her friend on the phone and she is the kindest person I know, so I guess I was raised with good values and I did hear the word in my home, but it was never pushed down my throat. Sometimes I wish I had a crazy conversion story, because I don't know why I have always had a heart for the Lord, my life wasn't hard, we didn't have any extra money, but we were raised on acreage in the country and I didn't really hang out with neighbors because we didn't have any, so maybe that helped by not having a lot of outside influences. I've tried weed for migraines, but it just made me paranoid and made my heart race, so that wasn't going to be an issue for me. It feels like God has always protected me and I don't know why, other than I have always known he was real and I never wanted to be the reason for his stripes and nails, although I know I am responsible for many. I suppose God works the way he wants, I can only imagine the comfort people feel when they do come out of the darkness and embrace God's love, it must be such a relief to leave that old life behind and know you are still greatly loved despite running from him.

Grass, demons and lust are all connected. One leads to another. Christ told us in 1st Corinthians 6:9 that no drunkard will inherit the kingdom of God. Grass/THC = intoxicating your mind. Our body is a temple of Yah, so regardless if it's alcohol or grass, you are defiling Yah's temple. Stay strong brothers and sisters in Christ. Endure until the end.

Drunkard doesn't define weed, and alcohol is not a sin in scripture.... was it not said in scripture partake of all the seeds in the garden and where does it say we should not consume alcohol?? Now if any abuses it for pleasure as over indulge.... then yes we are contaminating the body. I've used weed in tinctures as well as oil consumables for cures like epilepsy.

I agree that men need leaders. Men need friends that hold them accountable that know and have a relationship with the Lord. They would be better in relationships, marriages, friendships. They are the leaders and I feel they suffer alot in silence. It's hard to vent to woman because they have to be vulnerable and needing the help to be a better man they need older leaders that will help them. There is always more woman in the church then men and it's sad!!! I hope we can change this new generation is lack of leaders to lead them in the right direction.

Idk how to explain it but God jus gave me a sense of understanding of sin like I never had before. And I felt so bad for all the things I was doing that was sin. Weed was one of em. This was like last Thursday that I jus stopped smoking and threw everything away weed, wraps, lighters. but he had been working on me for about a few months now it wasn’t jus one day it happened. I’m jus thankful he saved me.

Got stuck in a cycle of smoking weed, drinking and having sex. I fell off deep. I smoke HEAVY and never noticed how much of a problem it was until recently. God been reaching back out to me. He’s been placing his heart upon mines. I feel horrible for how much money I’ve lost keeping up with smoking. But the amount of time I lost is scarier. God revealed to me so much lately . This hit home pretty hard. My oldest brother had “the chronic 2001 by Dr. Dre.” I thought they were so cool so I wanted to “smoke weed everyday” as Nate dogg once said. I was caught making water bings by my mother in 2nd grade. My older brothers also exposed me to girls gone wild. Those 2 instances shaped my early years immensely and unknowingly. To this day I struggle with weed. I like it, but I know I am a much better person without it. I also had a cocaine addiction. Thanks to my now wife she helped me kick that habit thank goodness and I will never look back. Since kicking cocaine and consuming large amounts of alcohol, my life has been much better. I am now trying to strengthen my relationship with god. Hopefully I can kick weed for good in the near future. New subscriber of the podcast. I like the vibe you guys give off. Thank you.

Hang in there and train yourself to stay in prayer my brother! I kicked heroin and I stay in the Lord all day everyday and there is no place I'd rather be. Christ , and the epiphany's of the Holy Spirit are the best drug I've ever tried! There is no feeling as fulfilling as that! You just have to try! Pray often, listen to the Bible reading podcast and start at Genesis and listen if you have a hard time reading. Listening to other Christian's stories is very powerful but NOTHING is as powerful as God's direct Word! When I finally started to sit down and reread/listen to the Bible I started to understand it and God in an entirely different way that I did when I was young and forced to go to church. The Bible is almost magical, there is no other text in existence that explains the human spirit, thought process, and subsequent behaviors. You can see clearly that there is no way the Bible is incorrect. 2000years ago these men were able to foresee things which are happening today. This is how we know that we are following the ultimate ONE TRUTH. Sorry for the length of this message but you can kick that weed! One moment at a time just don't pick up and train yourself to stay in Christ so you turn to Him for relief instead of turning to a temporary solution!

You guys can kick weed, lust, masterbation, porn, overnight but to do that you have to surrender to Jesus.Repent for your sins, Ask him to deliver you from your specific addictions, and fill you with his Holy Spirit and obedience. Then do a 24-72 hour fast. I kicked those addictions after doing them and smoking weed everyday for 20 years. God will give you a new heart and you'll be born again without a desire for lust or sins but you have to truely surrender to Jesus

It's because I overthink so much when I'm sober, I'm also very anxious and have to keep moving or doing something. I can't stay idle for too long. So, Before bed... I smoked and finally my body and mind are able to relax and I get to calm my thoughts and really go through why I feel the way I feel about certain things and why I went about things a certain way , and it includes both past and present... I'm also able to just be more open with myself...more honest. I feel like the conversation isn't so rushed either. I feel so bad after I smoke though because I don't want God to condemn me or for Jesus and God to walk away from me. So , I have such confused and mixed feelings with smoking.

That experience you mention with weed had me shook! I’ve experienced a lot of supernatural things after I quit smoking weed. And it stopped for a long time and it especially lightened up once I came into faith. Then the activity started back up when I decided to start smoking again. I quit smoking weed real quick after my last experience…

I had a similar experience with weed at first it freaked me out and I thought I was getting mentally Ill but god delivered me one day when I was super anxious and I had an overwhelming peace. Ever since then I felt like there were demons around me and it was terrifying. Although I didn’t see it I kept sensing it. I haven’t smoked weed in so long and anytime I even tried delta 8 I’m reminded why I stopped so I officially decided to leave it alone I’m happier without it.

It hurts my heart that our young men feel the need to give disclaimers on their testimony because they're not from "the hood" or their past isn't "dark enough". That's culture. There aren't tiers of salvation. Keep sharing your testimony bros! It's ALL relevant and powerful, and will change lives through the blood of Jesus!

I got chills & fell asleep i dreamed i was crying & this man sat next to me. I kid you not everything you said in the beginning is what he said to me! opening doors through the sins I was doing, and how I need to renounce and repent. Bless you, keep doing what your doing 🙏🏽! Your testimony is very strong. It’s very relatable especially the part about weed and making the decision to walk away from school knowing God didn’t want you there. The weed took over my life for so long and gave me so much anxiety. It made me farthest away from God and closest to the enemy. That darkness was really heavy and even when I stopped smoking that addiction will have feeling like without weed you can’t live. I am about 2 months sober and I was smoking from 15-21. One day I will write a book and everyone will hear my testimony and my journey. I can’t wait to be in the position to inspire others the way Jesus does to other people. God is amazing and for those of you sobering up and walking away from sin and walking with God you are a fighter one of Gods warriors. You are chosen stand tall and submit to him. Love and live in Christ he will show you the way. Amen🙌❤️🫶🏻

I see a lot of women submission vids and telling but not much on men’s submission. If a man isn’t submissive to Jesus his family won’t follow him well and strife happens.
