The burgers look great. The shelf looks sturdy enough to hold anything you'd queue up for the grill. A concern (or maybe not) is whether it could tip the grill if not secured. Maybe a 10 lbs. weight close to the edge would be an extreme test. Being on the front, the center of gravity of the grill is closer to the front than the side. That said, no way would the included side shelves hold 10 lbs.
