That silicone liner for the air fryer is a good idea but I had one and you have to be careful what you use it with. It works well for baking or things with sauce but for crisping and other things, not enough air circulates around the fryer to get the job done. Love that smile! It felt like a gift.

Another hack I found using a Food Saver. Take about 6 oz. of hamburger roll it into a ball. Place it in a Food Saver Bag and smash it into a round flat shape. Take all the air out of the bag. Take a rolling pin and flatten and shape it more. Place into the freezer for later use or store it in the refrigerator. The only downside to this is the Food Saver Bags are expensive. I use it for storage in the freezer.

You can do the same thing by taking the sale buns putting them in your toaster oven or even microwave oven take a cup of water and put the microwave on high put your buns in a dish next to it where the water if it should overflow will not bother your buns and you will find that they come nice and springy and fresh again same thing will happen if you put them in a toaster over with the drip pan being filled with water and then being on the rack above.
