I'm waiting for the next gen weebill. ATM it's not full compatible with the 16-35mm GMaster :( That backpack would be even more legit if it had a waist strap. running and gunning all day specially when traveling will strain your shoulders and back
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
Yeah hopefully they can work it all out. SmallRig is making counterbalances that look very promising. The bag does in fact have a waist strap and you can remove it if you want it out of the way.

It is written in weebill specification that it is possible to zoom sony 18-105 lens without mechanical follow focus, just like on Crane Plus with joystick, does anyone know how to do this? Who succeeded?
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
That’s interesting. As far as I can tell, and from official responses from the company, you cannot control zoom without an external motor attachment. I just tried it out (without motor) and I couldn’t see any way to have it work.

Where is review wireless transmition is it good?
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
In my use with it so far, it works pretty great as a very quick and super convenient solution to not having an external monitor. It works well enough for my needs and I really like it. There is a little lag and the resolution is good, but not stunningly clear. Overall, I love it as a feature and is a great addition. Some may still prefer the high resolution and zero lag of using an external monitor though.

All very nice and innovative, but how does it perform? ... thats all i care about. From what i hear, not so good.
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
So far it has been great for my setup (a7iii, prime lenses, 18-105 zoom, and large 90mm macro). I’ll be doing some extensive testing and making a video on the actual process of filming with the weebill Lab. All the footage will be straight out of camera, no slow mo, no stabilization. I’ll share more thoughts in that vid. Stay tuned.

Infosmercial ....I’ve got a BMPCC4k and I doubt it could handle the size....but I will wait and see.
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I hear the BMPCC 4K is a bit tricky on the weebill, but I have in fact seen it work. I know it can be balanced, but I haven’t sent footage from it yet. If I do, I’ll let you know and link it here.

Hey! First view like and comment! Will this work with a7iii with zoom lens?
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
Heyyyyyy alright! 🙌 Thanks for watching. There are some zooms it will work great with and others that may not. The Tamron 28-75 will for for example as will the 18-105 f4. Some bigger lenses like the 16-35 g master may have issues with entering sling mode because of how front heavy the lens is. I will be addressing compatibility more in depth in another video coming soon.

Please try 5d with 24-70 not every videographer using sony
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
I hear ya. From what I see with the compatibility list the 5d IV and 24-70 will not have enough room to balance properly. The crane 2 has full canon compatibility though and would be a great choice for that combo (I’ve tested it out and it works great).
@conrod875 жыл бұрын
@@Infosmercial Because i doubt the weebill can handle 5d+24-70 but weebill payload is 3kg and 5d+24-70 just around 2.2kg. Thankyou for the reply 👍
@Infosmercial5 жыл бұрын
No problem. I talked to the company about that and so the motors can handle the weight up to 3kg (they tested it), but because of how small the weebill is, the adjustment arms are rather short compared to other gimbals. It makes it very difficult or impossible to find the center of balance on larger cameras. You simply cant adjust it enough. Cheers!

Weebill cant handle a lot of cameras actually because it has a tiny frame. Really only works with light camera and light primes. Stay away from weebill lab its just not worth 600$. It still has alot of problems with it.
