This format, context and content is incredible. It allows learning from the spoken narrative in the background while you demonstrate techniques in application. You have given new information that allows a greater transparency and understanding to what each product is designed for. The TW wash and wax is a much better product than I had thought and will definitely be added to my maintenance washes for all the reasons you gave. Fantastic!

I'm still experimenting with that soap, but the main reason I wanted to buy it was to be able to blow dry a vehicle faster. It worked amazing on my ceramic coated vehicle. I tried it on a non coated car and didn't help much with blowing water off but made it easier to dry. I need to try again on a noncoated car.

Thanks Phil for “thinking outside the box” on the Hybrid Solutions soap. I never even considered throwing it in a foam sprayer. As I’ve commented on some of your other videos I love the whole product line and have been using for a little over a year. I like using the soap since I’m sure it’s all part of the same SiO2 blend. The only gripe I’ve had is the amount of product TW recommends on the soap. I got to try this on my next wash and see if it works similarly for me. Great stuff! Thank you again for great, realistic content!!

Nothing lasts like a good coating or spray sealant, but a good soap with protection also leaves the car protected in a way thats hard to match. Every crack and crevice and piece of trim is protected once the sponge goes over it and it just has much more coverage than any other product.

Great review and realistic, specially on why products don't necessarily need to be bashed out. I have certain products that I use because it is what's available to me real quick and others I have acquired from going in recent years to the states and visited some detailing shops in California, Utah, etc. asking what they used. Other products I have acquired them because of what detailers like you have experienced and posted in KZbin. I always have to read or see my own notes on how to best use certain products because of my experience or others experience. For example, The Last Coat first version wasn't that good but they revised it and released the second version. I prefer to use it on some clients that have a short maintenance plan with me, but I use Turtle Wax Ceramic on those with a more spread maintenance because its protection lasts longer. I have even called companies asking because something didn't work for me and they clarified my steps or not to mix with something. Like it happened last week in the last video from Car Supplies Warehouse, Jason called Meguiars because a well known product wasn't working for him and his new employee who also was a very experienced detailer. Meguiars gave him clarification on how to use it correctly and everything was recorded and shown on video. Even the very experienced have used it incorrectly or skipped a step or did something backwards. Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷

Hey Phil, wanna try an off-label experiment with TW Wet Wax? Use it like a sealant and not a drying aid ... mist on, wipe in and buff off - on a clean, dry car (not much buffing off to do though) I put 2 coats on my black Camaro like this, 12 hours apart and it looks and feels incredible.

Thank you for the update on that trim! 👍 Now... it looks like hard and smooth plastic and nothing really seems to stick to that for very long in my experience. I've tried PERL, CG Trim Gel, a coloured "Black Wax" and several different, dodgy tire/trim sprays. Too little texture in the surface to grab a hold, I guess. Maybe a real coating works, yeah... (Solution Finish, as you mention elsewhere, probably will). Oh, how long did the dressings look good, btw? Two-three weeks?

Phil pay no attention to the haters. First I apologize for the long rant. Every single one of those bashers would sell out their mother's to get free products. Many of us here appreciate honest reviews, from honest people, who don't sell out for free products. You were spot on with talking about how location, water type and current weather conditions all effect a products abilities. Also not everyone knows how clear coats can vary from hard to soft, and car to car. Or how vehicles can be extremely different from manufactures, as well as between makes, models and years. Not to mention mid year changes of materials, as well as differences in paint mixing and sprayed thickness. Now lets touch on vehicle condition or lack there of. Some in the elements their entire life, some in garages. Home washing, high Ph scale brush car wash, touchless washes. Screw the hater's Phil.. I know there are more however You (Miranda), Brian (Apex), and Brian (Fab) are 3 top notch, non-sell out channels. Thank you..

Sorry, another question LOL. what is the ADVANTAGE of using a ACID BASE wheel cleaner vs. a NON ACID? Plus on car shampoos, when using TW, even though it does not produce suds, the actual cleaning for a PRE WELL MAINTAINED vehicle, we can wash and add the protection just by using it in the foam canon? BLESSINGS.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 4 жыл бұрын
An acid based cleaner is stronger and will better remove brake dust. But only to be used on clear coated and chrome wheels. Bare aluminum or other custom wheels it may damage and stain. The TW wash and wax does clean and protect in one step. On well maintained vehicles it’s awesome.

Well I only applied it on the hood a few weeks ago. So it’s still holding strong. I didn’t film it when I applied it.

I guess I would have used super clean first on the tires and wheels and then the turtle wax wash.

Sure, you could do that. Do what ever you want. I was just showing how to use the TW wash and wax.

@@MirandaDetailing it just seemed counter intuitive to me as the degreaser took away some of the protective and beading properties of the TW wash.

Sorry not sure what you mean. If you watch the video I explain why I did things that way. It’s just to demonstrate how the TW wash and wax cleans on the wheels and tires. If you watch my other videos you will see how we actually detail vehicles on a regular basis. I did use super clean after I used the TW on the wheels. In fact the other tire(s) you saw how I used super clean on the tires and wheels and then used the Wash and wax on them. Ohhhhh maybe you didn’t watch the whole thing through with the audio. I think you would understand better if you did. 😎👍🏼

@@MirandaDetailing so just testing the cleaning ability? But ideally you would use the Super clean first and then the TW wax wash right?
