I think you’re more upset by the weeds than we are 😂 Honestly it all looks so beautiful. Love the black accents in hardscape. The garage wall just blends away, too. And garden library looks like it’s always been there 🤩

Missed you! Your garden is gorgeous! Hellebores are one of absolute favorite ❤ They are so beautiful! I was given recently my first hydrangea plant and so excited to have started collecting hydrangeas plants. I have motivated by yours for sure 😊

Just so pretty! Hey, we've all got weeds, girl! I always use to tell people...this is a working garden, always something changing..or being changed. You don't just pop open a can and all the pretty gardens come out on their own. It's all gorgeous. I love the shed.

I think this part of your garden is my favorite what ever the season! You have so many daffodils in these two beds and, although they are gorgeous now, how do you go about "hiding" the ever yellowing and flopping leaves while they die back? I always find this to be one of the most challenging aspects when adding more daffodils in my garden beds. Thanks for any advice/feedback. Love your channel!!

Your garden is gorgeous! Could you consider taking a photo of each area of your garden from same spot so at end of year we can do a review video to see the succession? I know it’s a lot of work but you do such an amazing job succession planting. Thank you for sharing. I LOVE your garden.

Honestly, you said your weeds were embarrassing but I appreciate you showing us the “bad” with the good.. or rather the real life vs the curated. Your garden is beautiful and if you only showed the hydrangea room all nice and mulched with beautiful flowers I’d be feeling bad about my own garden. 😅

Im in the new 6a zone I thought my gardens were early but they are a month behind yours. My daffodils are a week into blooming. Hellebores are looking great. My temperatures here are 30’s & 40”s. Because of strong winds I haven’t done any clean up. Now looking at yours I see I really have to get moving. Please never apologize for anything you have not yet accomplished in your gardens! The only judge you have concerning that is you, as it should be. They are gorgeous always! That you have already mulched anything is testament to your energy and devotion. I chose as I began my gardens here to only plant white daffodils and I love it. Each year adding more. I plant them to protect tulips and everything coming up. The bunnies start early here and chewed down everything except daffodils. I love where you moved the library. Inside is looking cosy and beautiful. Mirrors on every wall will light up your space with sunshine which is a great mood lifter. I would need that desperately in MA. Thank you so very very much for this beautiful gift of spring in your garden. I share with your philosophy of less and more. I will be putting in lots more catnip.

Another thought: maybe make another path in front (in your copious spare time 😘) that will lead visitors in a different direction, so they don't walk on your plants? 💚

I have missed you.. love all the improvements to the garden.. makes it much more open. I either missed it or you didn't say why you moved the shed. it looks real nice where it is. much cleaner out there. You are so much more ahead of us here in Maine. lots of snow and ice in the last 2 weeks so its nice to see everything green and blooming.

Your garden is SO LOVELY Danielle! I can’t believe you are worried about a few weeds. I love seeing the real stuff. We had that bad storm in central Illinois where I live. We got such heavy rain and high winds that it flattened a lot of my daffodils that were blooming. I LOVE your garden library and seeing your grandmas ribbons. What a treasure❤️can’t wait for your next video. We missed you!

What a delight for the eyes! So beautiful. I wonder if that first hellebore you couldn't remember the name of could be either a Wedding Party Series 'True Love' OR maybe a Winter Jewels Series 'Berry Swirl' OR a 'Double Ellen Red'? And the second hellebore you couldn't identify might be an Ice 'n Roses Series 'Bennotta' OR an Ice 'n Roses Series 'Nightingale'? Not sure about the yellow daffodil; could it be "Quail' or 'Treviathan'? Your Garden Library is AMAZING. Oh, I just love it! Well done!

LOVING your garden transformation! Missed you bunches!!! Have you considered Black Scallop Ajuga as a groundcover in your sunny areas, and Black Mondo Grass in the shady areas? More groundcover = less mulch = less weeds. (I prefer the blacks = resembles mulch better and makes the greenery around it "pop").

You are back Danielle! The progress in your gardens is unbelievably gorgeous ! Your garden library is truly like a retreat! I wonder if people are going into your corner garden because they think it’s public property. I had to install a wooden fence at my corner of the property where there were multiple flowering crabapple trees, because everyone thought it was a Parkette, and letting their dogs do ‘their thing ‘. 🐕 I too am reducing the variety of plants and creating repetition to quieten the visual! 🥰🇨🇦🌸

I'm enjoying this informal approach. One thing that makes gardening so fascinating and rewarding is the process of editing, experimenting and improving. No season is ever the same! It's only been this year that I have realized that daffs and hellebores make a great combination. I saw some nice ones in my local nursery but was trying to resist the urge to buy more plants than I have the capacity to plant. My new enthusiasm is Molly's White. We had rain and strong winds in the Hudson Valley last week and then, of course, an earthquake!

I have missed you! Your camera work is just the best! I get vertigo watching some of the other garden vlogs. Also, thanks for posting on Saturdays. Not many vloggers post on Saturdays. Your garden is looking beautiful. I'm interested in different ways to disguise daffodil foliage so I'll be interested to see how the larkspur and feverfew work. I have both as seedlings right now.
