Coach: Listen with the goal of understanding. Give no advice. Ask-

2. How important is it for you to make this change?
3. What are the 3 most important benefits for you to__________?
4. If you decided to____________, how would you do it?
(Give a short summary/reflection of the speaker’s motivation for change, then ask:)
5. So what do you think you’ll do? or Where does this leave you?
