Low Carb diet, no sugar, no processed food, no seed oil - only olive or avocado oil and butter/ ghee, no gluten, for some also no dairy; eat only whole food and at least 100g animal protein from meat (mostly beef), fish and eggs. That's a goal.

@@CherrellMishelle well she’s their doctor and even claimed they are agressive about their own health/body goals. There’s no reason not to believe her. It’s common knowledge that metabolic changes or issues can result in significant weight gain despite living a healthy lifestyle. Let’s not shame those people for things seemingly everything possible to be a healthy weight, including taking medication

Diet and exercise doesn't work for long-term weight loss. Everybody gains the weight back and then some over a long enough time horizon. The reason these new medications are a game-changer is because they do work long term as long as you keep taking them.
@HoosierCarnivore3 ай бұрын
is it the lack of the drug causing the rebound or their eating habits? If you eat too many carbs, sugar, seed oils, and processed foods & snacks, the weight will come back. Before taking any of these drugs, give keto or carnivore a good honest try for 90 days. If you eat clean healthy single ingredient foods and avoid the middle of the grocery store, you probably won't need any drugs at all. the weight will just come off on it's own. Don't cost nothin to try, right? If you can't change your lifestyle, no drug is ever going to help you long term. Check out videos by Dr. Berry. You're welcome!

Maybe both. These drugs affect the brain and gut. There is a reason these medications work and why many people like myself stayed obese for years. If it was simple or about food choices I would have lost 100 lb and kept it off years ago. It is very hard to describe but the medication makes me feel like an "normal eater" probably does. I don't crave carbs or fried foods. I always tried to eat clean and exercise, within a proper calorie range, but have an binge eating disorder which would pack back on the pounds that I would lose. And I would be left wondering "what happened? Why did I do that again?" Tons of therapy, research, etc. On Mounjaro the constant food thoughts in my head are not there anymore and I don't overeat. I get full easier. It really has been a lifeline for me. 😊

Umm you can eat lots of food as long as it is real food. Problem is our food has been tampered with. People use to eat 3800 calories a day before the 1950s. no need to put the fork down just eat Real food minus seed oils.

Actually, you have to eat to lose weight. If it were that simple, everyone would put the fork down. The peptide helps those whose body isn’t producing enough to stop food cravings
