I had this one friend and we did roleplay and we made up all the characters and plot, but usually we didnt finish, but when we did, we fought over who died first.

And strangely enough we had a lot of tornados in which nobody got hurt nothing was damaged, and we literally spun in circles until we got too dizzy to keep standing, then called it good

When I lived in Florida, my elementary school had a huge open area for recess. Once we were all running around and a huge dust devil started forming. It got pretty big and everyone was freaking out cuz we were tiny 2nd graders... we thought we were gonna get blown away. Also, the field would become a lake after storms and I could see beautiful pink spoonbills out there.

I always try this in the Beach or in a Hotel that has sand in it, so every time I go to the beach which would be every 2 years when it’d be in Summer (Not common because the nearest Beach to my city is a Four Hour drive) or I when we are in a Hotel with a pool area that has sand next to it, I’d be (it’s a I’d because I haven’t gone to the beach in a while) where my Mom, Dad, or Cousins be I’d choose a spot and dig there my cousins would help and I’d always get a foot deep in and then I just couldn’t after the sand would be wet and I don’t know I just struggled with the wet sand but then one day when we went to a Hotel with a sand area next to one of the pools (yes one of the pools the place where the pool is in for the Hotel is paradise if you like Water parks because there was a water park outside the Hotel but no it’s not a Seaworld in back of it the water park is part of the Hotel because unless your staying at the Hotel yo can’t get in the Pools and slides) I went to the sandy area I started digging a Hole (Just saying I wouldn’t have started if other kids didn’t do a huge one which was theirs so I started mine then two kids started Helping me one stayed for a long time helpin me do mine and the other which was part of the group that made that huge one came and helped me for a while then him and his sister which wasn’t the other kid helping me made another hole right next to mine but then it was three feet deep and it did something the Huge hole and the other kid’s hole that helped me didn’t do I reached Concrete It is and has been my deepest hole yet. When I was younger I took the “dig to China” literally but when I got older it wasn’t “dig to China” anymore it was more like reach the deepest I could reach.

I don't remember a lot of my elementary school years, but I do remember this one time a kid almost got struck by lightning during recess before. Landed so close to him he was frozen in fear. I remember legit being jealous of him too lmao. I know I'm a little late to the party on this one, but hearing you say you and your friends would catch worms brought the memory back. So back in Elementary School, my friend and I started making up infomercials. The one I remember the most was when we did a take on a Miracle-Grow commercial. We would pluck different plants and shove them into tiny holes, and when the plant would start to unfurl, we would say it was due to the "Miracle-Grow". The catch with all of our little infomercials was that everything had a bad side effect. Miracle-Grow had the rabid worms, with the reference being from Spongebob Squarepants, The Alaskan Bullworm. And those worms would often appear and destroy our "set" when we would try to do other infomercials, either from an accident or sabotage from a member of staff. No, there were never any real worms, it was just something we could never let go of for some reason.

My friends and I used to eat honey suckles during recess. The yellow ones always tasted sweeter. Three things I remember doing in chronological order: I used to crouch into a ball thing and bounce around like a frog, we called ourselves Midgets and there was an opposing gang called the Monsters or something like that; My friends and I didn't role play like you did but we made our own universes where we could make societies or empires or whatever we wanted as long as they didn't interact (we had some problems with me creating weapons too powerful for my dimension); and in fifth grade I brought back the Midget but I didn't have any followers and I didn't have a rival gang (I was in a different school so nobody knew what I was doing) so I became the last of my kind, I also dug a hole in the corner of the field that was my nest and might still be there.

umm COME TO MY LEVEL! So during art class I was given some magic model clay. I decided to roll it up and turn it into a snail. My friend then sarcastically said "is that your boyfriend?" I stood frozen for a second before I said "yes." THE STORY HAS JUST BEGUN. Soon, everyone in the whole grade knew I had a boyfriend snail (with over 100 kids) so I did what any logical kid would do. I married the snail. So then everyone knew about the engagement, so it was time to plan a wedding. One week later with ring pops in my hand, the marriage begun. As "Jared" the snail was about to kiss the bride (Jared was the name of the snail) someone stole him from my hands and ran. Of course, running after him was 100 other kids in our grade, with me at the front. We caught him and saw that Jared the snail was severely hurt. The wedding was canceled and I took Jared to the "hospital" (my house where there were more magic model clay and markers) and remade Jared the snail with lots of colors and crutches. I still to this day have a picture I drew of the new Jared. If I could send pictures through Yt comments, I would. Well the wedding was redone and after the wedding was complete I handed the jar secretly to my friend and told her to put it in my locker because so many people wanted to kill Jared. One mistake I made after the wedding was bringing candy. I was backed up in a corner and pretend the seagulls from Nemo ("Mine!") were yelling for food. The funniest and worst part was when my friend put Hared in my locker (he was in a jar) the person who's locker was 2 away from mine, took it out and kid napped Jared the snail. He posted it all over his Instagram and I just looked at my iPod in awe. The next day I demanded the Jared would be returned what next he did, I would never forget. That night he THREE JARED IN A FIRE AND COLLECTED HIS ASHES. The next day of school he came with the jar, full of ashes. That day we had a funeral and buried him were we got married. We dug a hole and put his ashes there, and also all the notes me an my friends wrote for him. We buried them and walked away. 2 weeks later we wanted to see if Jared's ashes were still there and we found the note and his ashes still there, but since it rained, the notes we wrote will marker were all smudged up. That is the end of Jared the Snail. Rip my dude. EDIT: the person who kept being creepy to me and would not stop asking me out even though I said "I'm too young. I can't" and also had a *HUGE* ego, wrote me a hate letter when he figured out I had a snail boyfriend. It said how I was an awful person for declining him but then making a snail and going out with it. (I made the snail because it was art class) he told me how much he thought I was an awful person and how I might as well go to hell. But the funny thing is that he expected me to beg him for forgiveness when all I did was just ignore him. A few days later he handed me a note saying how he couldn't help his feelings for me and that he takes back what he said. I tried being friends with him after that. It didn't work. I have a whole story about this guy I that I already wrote.

Everytime a teacher cut the grass in my school literally almost everyone would play this game called grasswars everyone would gather up as much grass as you can and you would stack it all up in a wall shape so it would be a little fort also you could choose to he solo or in a team and everyone would stack up dry grass in the middle cause it was really valuable I dunno then the next day the war part of grasswars was that we gathered up a bunch of grass and throw it at eachother then we would raid each other's dry grass and which ever team had the most DRY grass wins

5:48 When you said that I remember a game that me and my younger friends still play (though not that much). Basically, it’s Shark vs People, if the shark drags (taps) a person, they either be dead or become a shark (mostly dead I think). The people need to be staying on the “ship”, aka the main attraction in our playground, aka the slide place. There’s like a platform that connects 2 slides on a side, people needed to stay on there to try to not become shark food. If someone goes on the water (aka they got out of the ship) they need to run, they could either go on the swings (swings are identified as ships) or just run until they get back on the main ship. We mostly taunt the person who is the shark by going JUST A LITTLE BIT down one of the slides, the shark would try to get them and then we go back on the ship, laughing with laughter as the shark is annoyed by our moves. We would also try to make sure where the shark is going on either side of the slide, we could sometimes risk to take a look just for the sake of getting a glimpse at where the shark is moving to (of course, the shark does try to get the ones who risk it but yea, we would leave instantly after taking a look). Okay, end of story

I remember my dad's one friend had a really cool playground in her backyard, so me and a bunch of other kids with play this one game called "tree houses and ghosts" We would split into groups, and the people on the ground would be The ghosts and the people in the playground would be the victims. The only thing the ghosts had to do was try to get inside the treehouse and scare the victims. And the victims would do whatever they could to keep the ghosts from getting in. I remember me and my one friend we're both victims, but my friend brought a slushie into the playground, meanwhile there was a ghost climbing up the slide in order to get to us. Once my friend saw the one guy's head appear at the top of the slide, she then took the lid off her slushie and screamed "EAT SNOW!" And then she threw her slushie at the guy in the slide

Me and my friends used to run around and pretend we were werewolves (we called them lupines lol) and act like we were possessed by the 'Storm wolf', and a bunch of other weird stuff. It was super fun, though and I have a lot of fond memories from it. We even made up our own lupine language and names from the language, mine was Tensa Shirana to give you an idea. I loved it so much, we even managed to incorporate these three pine trees in the back of the recess field as the 'sacred totems' or whatever we called them. One tree had this odd blue mold/fungus and we made it into this infection? We called it the Blue Mold/Crystal Horse infection and it could take away your lupine powers or whatever. We each even had a stone that was the lupine stone that held our powers.
