My Grand-Niece is on board the Ike, maintaining the reactor. Looks like they just got to the Eastern Med, headed for the Arabian Sea via the Suez Canal. Without giving away any trade secrets, I have often wondered how vulnerable a task force is while transiting the canal. Can the cats get you airborne without any headwind from steaming along at a high rate of speed? Are there constant CAP sorties being flown to keep the bad guys away? Stay safe out there, Commander.
