So glad you and Joe had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday! Belated happy birthday Joe! Glad you're still wearing your mask. I don't think you took unnecessary risks - it sounds like you still practiced safety. This is for anyone reading this: Even if you have gotten the vaccine, you still have to wear a mask, practice social distancing, etc. So many people think that once they get the vaccine they can go back to living like they did 'pre-covid' - that's just not the case. If they, the CDC (or whomever decides this) feel that herd immunity has taken over and everyone is protected from ever getting COVID-19, I would consider returning to 'pre-covid normalcy' - until then, I will practice safety so that I can continue to help care for my mom and step-dad.

I think it is time while beig respectful of others. You did things just as you should have done. Arizona is slowly getting us all the opporrtunity to get vaccinated. I get my second shot in 10 days. YIPPEE!! I feel the same way as you do about crowds.....not going to be easy for me to be in close proximity to strangers anytime soon. I get that from most of my friends and family. No one I know is anxious to go to any large crowded gathering. I can't wait to be able to just be with my family unit again and to be able to hug those I love again. ❤️

What a coincidence. We shut the state down nere last March 17. My son's birthday, March 21, was cancelled. Next week we will do a double birthday party for him. The day after that we close on and take possession of our new 1 story new home. Life is good these days. I am looking forward to the New Roaring Boring Twenties. Life goes on!

After having the stroke last March I am much more cognizant of my personal need to be covered, distanced and careful. I am not ready to go out in public yet. I barely go shopping for necessities and I do it late at night in a 24 hour shopping center so I can be mostly alone! It has for sure changed my future actions!!

Check with your insurance - my son will also turn 26 in April. When he called to get a verification letter it turns out our insurance will cover him the entire year of 2021. Worth a call.

Love your dogs name! I got my cat on July 3rd, so named him Alexander Hamilton. Lol I also like not being sick! I am sure I will continue to wear my mask while I am out and about. This is probably the first year in a long time that I did not have a bout of bronchitis this winter.

Everyone is getting their vaccines and I can't find an appointment anywhere despite being registered with our health dept. and being part of the 1b phase. It's so frustrating. I lost 23 pounds the month of February but stepped on the scale this morning and I have stalled. Lot of frustration! Ugh... I'm glad you and your son had a wonderful day. Special memories.

Happy Birthday to your dear son! I am changed I believe forever with this pandemic. I am not willing to do things with groups because I have not been sick either. And normally I get sick several times a year. I don't like masks, but I will be wearing one for a long time. It just makes sense to me.

Too bad the people who worked with my dad in his Nursing Home decided to choose for themselves and ended up bringing him and 32 other residents COVID. More than 8 died. Dad is about dead after losing both his legs because of some effects. I'll let you know how we carry out his funeral, who masks, who doesn't. It didn't work out so well for his care staff to decide for themselves to bring him the COVID while we haven't been able to hug him since March 7, 2020.

I can't wait to go back to a movie theatre. I also can't wait to go on a cruise. I think the sanitizing measures will continue for me, but I will not hesitate to go into a crowd once covid is under control. I wear a mask faithfully, but I am looking forward to not having to.

I am so happy to hear that you had a fun day with your son! I will definitely go to a movie theater as soon as I get my vaccine! I will stay masked for a long time after the pandemic is over; why risk getting something there is no vaccine for! There are so many viruses out there, I feel like COVID is just the tip of the iceberg

I don’t need to know your weight but you went out in weigh in day but making a video today. Takes one minute to weigh . I’m sure you know your weight . I did weigh in. I told you that I stayed the same. I had taken off 2 pounds the week before. I didn't say the number but it is 302. But I usually skip my weigh in once a month, and I intend to do that in the future, just FYI.
