Welcome to the "Hickok45 Talks" Channel. This channel is a place for me to just pontificate about random topics that somebody out there might find interesting. I will talk about firearms issues quite a lot, but I'll also exercise my license to talk about any topic I might pretend to know something about.
If you have a topic you'd like me to address, let me know. Doesn't mean I'll address it, but who knows, I might.

Just a suggestion for a talk video that I would like for you to cover if you haven't already and I just missed it, is sighting a firearm with prescription eye glasses. With your experience I believe you could give some helpful advice to shooters that are getting glasses for the first time. Enjoy your videos and keep up the good work and thank you for your time.

Good stuff, happy to be here before it hits 3,000 subs! An idea for a video: Your opinion as to what you would choose for home defense among handguns or long arms (of all modes), for those who do not practice, those who do practice, and those that step up a bit more (such as those who seek instruction at places like Gunsite or Thunder Ranch, etc. perhaps multiple times). Demonstrate (for various power levels) why semi-auto might be better than full auto or not!

Hi Hickok 45! Think I'm going to love this channel also! In your video you said we could ask for topics. Well Sir I have a request. If you don't mind could you talk about or demonstrate the way to use buckhorn sights. Very little information on YT about it just how to adjust the rear buckhorn. What I'm talking about is the sight picture. Someone talked about using them like a peep sight aperture sight. If anyone can explain it,it would be you Mr Hickok.
