If you farm, you fix things, just the way it is. A lot of people don't realize that farmers are so much more than someone who puts seed in the ground. Mechanics, business people, planers, and weather people are just a few hats they wear. I hope this season goes well for the Welkers and Coby. May Coby get a little closer to catching that "Wabbit".

Robert, I enjoyed hanging out with you. The same identical thing happened in the driver's door of my 1982 F150. Because I did not have a welder suitable for welding on thin sheet metal I made a trip to the junkyard and just bought me a door. So now I have a white truck with a brown door. I hope you washed your hand good after you grabbed that handful of nitrogen.

Thanks for another great video Bob. It was interesting and enjoyable. Nice work on your pickup. You did great to modify the window crank assembly from manual to electrical motor. Worked just fine. Nice work Bob. The window works great now. Second nice work on the brake reservoir setup. You did great changing over to new tank and all. Seems to all work great. Good job at changing the brake fluid. I assume it works ok now after a test drive. Did not hear otherwise. Of course you had your buddy Colby to help. Good to see Colby again. Wonderful companion for you Bob. Next busy time getting ready for spring work by unloading fertilizer into the bins. Another job done. Busy time getting ready for spring. Great drone footage Bob. Was wonderful. Guess about it for now. Thanks for the video on your projects and seeing Colby also. Appreciate the way you approach projects Bob. I have great respect for you and your operation. Always enjoy your videos. Many thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Almost forgot. No helpers today. Leg arms is probably working on the house. But Nick must have been hiding from the work-ha. Just kidding. Your issue is likely the rubber lines that attach to the calipers or the rubber line that runs from the frame to the splitter fitting on the rear axle. The rubber lines at about 10 years or so will start to degrade internally and break down. You can get a flap of rubber that will block the line. It may actuate (take fluid) but then not release unless it sets for a long period of time. The can be intermittent too. It may go 3 months and not act up. You park it. Start it the next time an upon the first pedal actuation, it will plug off. Given the age of the truck, I'd suggest changing out all the rubber line sections.

the drone video of the bin yard today compared to only 3 years ago when grain was in a big pile in the yard shows amazing progress. Did find some popcorn. Hi Bob, I don't know about on your particular truck but on the Sierra and Silverado models, air can get trapped in the ABS pump. There is an ABS bleed function on the higher end scan tools, which will run the pump and force any air out of the pump, and send it further down the line so you can remove it at the bleeder screw. You can also force the pump to run yourself by braking hard enough to activate the ABS. This works sometimes. You didn't say if your rear brakes were good after replacing the master cylinder. Hopefully, everything was fine and you don't need this little tip. Thanks for the video! -mike

Great video Bob! You can also install the master cylinder on the vehicle as long as you prime it prior to connecting the brake lines. You don't want all that air in the system or you will be bleeding them for hours! Keep up the great content!

FINALLY - someone that realizes that when you are bleeding brakes that you need to wait between cycling the plunger/piston for the air to escape and the fluid to enter the cylinder. I constantly see internet "experts" stomping on a brake pedal like they are killing mice in a corner and wonder why the system doesn't bleed correctly. Kudos for a job properly done.
