Choice is the greatest force of all. People can have both Nature and Nurture completely against them, and they can still (and countless do) make the right choice. The inverse is also true. Someone with the best of all chances can make all the wrong choices.

No I disagree completely and there's plenty of evidence saying that it has to be something people are born with! There's a sinister reason why the authorities do not want science to prove people are born evil and it's because of the fact that if someone is born evil then standing in judgement of someone not able to control their actions makes a legal loophole that criminals can can exploit and it doesn't fit in with the made up religious narrative that governments have utilized over the centuries! Our laws actually state that person's must be inn control of their actions to be convicted of the crime and scientist finding that some people are not in control of their actions can not be found guilty of the crime

​@@know1knows839 The more sinister reason that authorities do not want scientific estimates of which people are born with an increased potential for evil is that (soon, when enough first-worlders at least will have been typified by their genes, or those of enough of their close relatives,) too many people in power would prove to have this or that or a constellation of genetic traits which would place them under suspicion of those tendencies. There are always nurturers out there who think they or someone can overcome nature with 'ednough love'. Most of them are lucky enough to never personally be proved wrong.

I was born to be kind, gentle, loving, helpful, and a loving friend to all. However, there is no place on this planet for someone like that. People like this are victims to social predators, get killed, or are abused by those that say they are the kind person's friend. Thus, I became standoffish, socially isolated, quiet, self-reliant, and su specious of everyone. This will give me a chance to o live without being someone else's victim for cruelty. It has actually worked very well for me. After socially isolating myself, everything became logical, clearer, simpler, safer, and more affordable. Being social offers few benefits in the 21st century. There really is little reason to be social anymore. It causes far more problems than benefits. Thus, I will forego my birth characteristics of being social, a friend to all, kind and gentle and remain socially isolated and reclusive to avoid becoming a victim again. Life is, simpler this way.

I think it's both born and made. Some people are born with a gene that makes them more acceptable to doing bad things, and most people are born without that gene but can do bad things if they were abused as a child.

I was a very evil child and did some horrible things that make me cringe and question my sanity. I honestly believe that if I hadn't moved in with my mom when I was 12 then there is no telling where I would be today. I had even more terrible plans and thoughts but my mom kept me from doing it as I didn't want her to feel the embarrassment that my actions might cause. A few decades later and I no longer have those thoughts, or at least I don't fantasize anymore

My theory is that serial killers are made by constant childhood trauma and by constantly being mistreated by the system and society. There could also be many traumatic events even if they were happy before the event. If they had no event where they could’ve been traumatized or any abuse with a average household and life could have been bored and wanted to do something else than their routine. That is only a theory also side note I think infants are like a block of clay they could be molded into something amazing or something twisted or anything in the middle so depending on their environment or their guardian treating them

I honestly think that no one is born evil. But I have learn that some people are born with; Mental Problems do to having mentally fragile minds, Emotional Problems do to being emotionally fragile, and on rare occasions 2, or maybe 3 babies are born with addictive drugs in their bodies; It is those certain types of problems that lead to them sooner, or later going down a very dark path in their life.

In my opinion it's a combination of both nature and nurture, everyone is born with certain traits of personality in the same way we are born with a certain color of eyes and hairs but the personality is later influenced by our environment. My questions are if people can be predisposed to be evil in the future whether through nurture or nature, then is it possible for an adult to turn evil with factors including later life trauma like sudden death in the family or spouse cheated on you partner with your boss so you sought revenge? What draws the line, is it lack of self control, a diagnosis of a mental state, trauma, and psychopathic tendencies wrapped into one? I think they should do a study on babies being born where they analyze their genes and possibly compare it to anyone in the past that’s still alive to come up with some sort of explanation as to besides lack of empathy and trauma, what do all serial killers have in common? For it to be a diagnosis in the DSMV under antisocial personality disorder, I’m wondering why not all the people with it aren’t serial killers.

I don't think most people know this, but the biblical definition of evil is: irritation, annoyance and hard labor (not referring to working hard but that which causes suffering). Wicked refers to something perverse, crooked or twisted as in wicker basket. Sin is basically anything that is not as it is meant to be.

One note on the test though. If the had empathy they would of chosen the character being abused. Chosing the heroic character usually means they feel safest with that character.
