Nice! Should be standard on ALL Jeep Wranglers. I used the 4dr cap on my two door, I liked the "raised" piece to assist in opening; thought it was easier to use.

I put this on my 2018 JK 2 door Sport today. I bumped into a man with a 2018 JK Freedom Edition. It came with this fuel door on it. Now I have some Mopar/Jeep splash guards to install.

Very cool. A gas cover is something I want to get for mine eventually too. Thanks for showing how easy this is. It's cold down here too. This stupid weather cracked Chris's windshield on his Toyota. I need to go see if my Jeep's is ok still. Maybe this year I'll invest in some little upgrades like this.

This guy is pretty good .... I've seen other videis that he's done..... I would mention that just to make life easier, lube the rubber grommet inside and out prior to and after removal.

It looks like water could possibly leak between the body and the fuel door where theres no seal against it. It's just flush up against the body ...what's preventing water from leaking in between and going down into the body causing corrosion on the inside?

I never considered it, because the one the factory puts in fits the exact same way without a gasket or sealant. The directions made no mention of adding a gasket or sealant. It is a nice tight fit. I did put a coat of wax over the area when I had it out.😀

Great idea, does this not come on any of the JKs? It's one less place for salt and dirt to get into. Do you think this will fit a 2018 JK?

From the research I just did, the one in the link above, in the description box, should fit 2007-2018 JK's. I believe the 2018 JL models will be different. :)

Looks like a plastic door, not metal.

The door and outer ring are not plastic, they are aluminum. The rest is plastic, just like the original.
