He was even wrong about the Human cloning back in Season 2 it was clearly stated that the reason why the project kept failing is because the ai was trying to create a complex organism. But by studying the Humans in the park and all the data is gathered it realised that the reason it kept failing is not because Humans r too complex but because they extremely simple. And through understanding this it became childs play to create Human hosts.

Halores is going against Dolores' plan because Dolores wanted to save humanity and give it a choice, while Halores simply wants to wipe out humanity like vermin. That's basically what she's explaining to William when she tells him she and Dolores started from the same place.

As I stated in your other video. Westworld needs less what will happen mysteries and needs more how it happened mysteries. Season 1 was amazing because we knew the robots would rebel and we witnessed how it happened. Being ahead of the plot but not the characters is one of the rare things that works for westworld that wouldn’t work for other shows. Otherwise these mysteries they keep putting in place become like lost and the pay off just seems like it took an unnecessarily convoluted route. We could have learned everything we learned about Caleb in last weeks episode in the second episode of the season. Everything doesn’t have to be mysterious and it bloats the show. The big reveals should be a fun part of the show and not a necessity of the narrative. Twists become tedious.

Heavy Spoilers yeah. Honestly I think a lot of them were just unnecessary. I would have been more about Caleb if I knew he had a grudge against Rehoboam for getting him to kill his friend. If Delores has told him that from the beginning he wouldn’t have looked like such a passenger. And not knowing who the other Delorei were wasn’t necessary. Being able to know who they were and watching their divergence because of their experiences would have been a great journey.

Of course we knew the hosts would take over in season 1 that’s the whole plot of the original Westworld. Once there is no source material to pull from the writers are lost and it shows.

It would have been fine if they left him at "construction worker/petty criminal who'll eventually commit suicide" but then they extended it to "reprogrammed ex-soldier (who also trained in one of Delos' parks) gone hitman, gone construction worker/petty criminal who would eventually kill himself". It's just examplary for the biggest issue with Season 3: a severe lack of focus when it comes to the themes and characters that are explored. It's the completey opposite of Season 1 where no scene, no line of dialogue was wasted because they all contributed to this hyperfocused, razorsharp bigger picture.

Match Day - I understand where you’re coming from. When they first introduced Paul, I couldn’t root for him or understand him. I didn’t watch Breaking Bad so I wasn’t engaged in his role this season as the others who had watched BB. Anyways, I believe that Evan and Paul portrayed Dolores and Caleb to be two very stoic individuals that found comfort in their connection from similar struggles they individually endured. That allowed them to be comfortable with one another without the traditional interactions of character connections. I think this was best so it wouldn’t hint at a “romance” between the two. Dolores has fallen for enough men, don’t need a love interest while you’re sparking a revolution. Jeffrey, I think has had so much more background story done the prior two seasons, not much to tell about him now. Yes, Harris and Thompson’s performances were great too! Looking forward to what havoc The Man in Black and Hale are about to unleash on to the world.

Hosts that are more self aware can ignore bullet holes, but not entire limbs getting blown off. Example: Bernard telling himself to remember who you are and then whooping Williams ass. This is also why Delores and Maeve can do it. And Hale gained a similar upgrade after the death of her family

He was shot with a 12 gauge (probably) shotgun, which is powerful than the modern guns which use thinner ammo. That's why the wound was so fatal.

Because as messed up as it sounds, Bernard had no use for Stubbs anymore. Stubbs was never apart of bernards plan. He just coincidentally met him. I feel like Bernard thought Stubbs would have somehow interfered or interrupted. Notice how right away he asks Bernard “what is it, what’s happening” and he can’t acknowledge him at all. He was more so in the way at that point imo.

The neck cut doesn't look very deep or fatal. If they really hit that artery of would have been gushing out quickly, maybe even spurting. I was just thinking, when William reviled what his “purpose” was, I don’t know about you but it seemed kinda unfitting and silly. What if they used hale and the MIB robot version of him to make his purpose make more sense and so he really has a drive and goal in season 4. I think anyone who got their throat cut and lived would want revenge. I don’t think they would kill him off right when he had a drive. I think they would send one of their most interesting characters better than that.

There are copies of Dolores out there but they’re still just copies. And the Hale/Dolores is like season 2 Dolores now, she’s hateful and wants to destroy the world and just a shallower version of Dolores, whereas the real Dolores decided to see the beauty in everything and realized it wasn’t her decision to make

There's literally no way in hell William is dead IMO. Sylvester survived having his jugular slashed in S1, and besides, one of the first rules of film/TV is that if you don't see a character die, they probably ain't dead! Really looking forward to seeing how S4 follows up on the ending, especially "dusty Bernard"; a full-on post-apocalyptic season would be epic but I don't know if that's where it'll go, at least not straight away

There's a moment when Dolores's eyes start to change/flicker blue, like an Amazon Alexa ring. As if she loading or transferring data when Charlotte enters the scene near the beginning as a hologram during the shootout, which I'm surprised most people didn't catch. I took this as if Dolores is connecting to Charlotte without her knowing like a virus or transferring a whole copy of herself somewhere else, knowing the endgame is coming.

Despite the story being so convoluted up until this point, I appreciate that this season was not afraid to move away from the parks to reality. The introduction of a super AI reminded me of the Will Smith I, Robot movie, where a similar AI was acting on behalf of humanity. I appreciate that they let Serac be an actual human who willing submitted to the AI instead of the AI killing and replacing him. I think this is the best season so far.

I believe the pearl in the host William from the post credit scene was the Martin Connells pearl that Charlotte removed and took with her right after she crushed Hector's pearl. I see a connection between the season two and three post credit scenes. They both take place in the same far distant future timeline.

A couple of things to note: 1- Halores will probably not be "healing" that arm. It appears as though she intends to keep it that way as a reminder of humans' cruel tendencies. The dialog goes like this: - William (to Hale after entering lab) : "I thought you things could fix yourselves." - Hale (replies after glancing nonchalantly at the arm) : "I wanted to remember who the **** you people are." 2- Coding humans is apparently easy, it's not just William. In season 2, when Dolores and Bernard enters the forge, they are greeted by a digital version of Logan Delos. He is a sort of librarian watching over "books". They are nothing more than the code needed to "recreate" each visitor whose data had been collected in the park. He then explains why every Delos copy William had made failed. - Forge-Logan: "The best they can do is live according to their code. The copies didn’t fail because they were too simple, but because they were too complicated. The truth is that a human is just a brief algorithm - 10,247 lines. They are deceptively simple. Once you know them, their behavior is quite predictable.” I'm not sure Dolores read William's book or if host-William is based on her personal experiences. Anyone is welcome to clear that up if they have more info.

Now I realize why William doesn't like his real world and goes to Westworld once a year to immerse himself in like the past. Because, like this season 3 all people are controlled and even if he's not, you can see how fake he felt like in this present 'futureworld'. He even authorized a computer to manage to talk for him in his meetings with the board because he didn't want to live in this present world. I rather go to the park also than living a life in this kind of futuristic system controlled government.

I was quite affected by Delores’s passing in this episode. And even though I really like her character, I don’t know if I want her to come back for season 4, as she bowed out with such grace in this finale. It would be cheapening that sacrifice if they just brought her back. Even if Evan (isn’t that a man’s name?) Rachel Wood may need the work 🤔 maybe in flash backs would be okay? Lots of those in Westworld 😆

Wasn't Ford hinted in Vanishing point that there were already host Williams in the park? He could sent one of those copies to infiltrate the Dubai facility (which, by the way, seems to operate completely hidden from the eyes of Rehoboam and Serac and seemingly houses Hale who had gone rogue 2 episodes earlier by killing off the board).

Actually, in season two they said that the replicas of humans failed because they’d made them complicated whereas in fact they’re simple. In the scene where dolores, bernard and Forge-Logan were talking, Logan said that some are simple while others are “irredeemable” and the camera locked on the systems attempts to replicate William. So I think william is not like the other people ,like Delos, simple. He is an outlier. That’s why his replica might be functional. Not because he is simple, but because he is complicated, an outlier.

William at the end is just a host built from memories of Hale (anti-delores) In S4 we’ll see William finally show fidelity and be the first human to come through the other side of the immortality programme. He’ll come back and kill his imposter as the next step in human evolution, living side by side with hosts

I actually also believe The scenes with Hale and William (and perhaps also Bernard and Stubbs) were filmed after The show was renewed for a fourth season. As it would have been more finite to only have The Caleb and Maeve ending.

As Maeve and Caleb leave the Incite building and watch the world burn, Maeve turns to Caleb and recites her signature line from season 1. “This is the new world, and in this world... you can be whoever the fuck you want.” To me, this reinforces that Maeve back to her original self and motives in season 1. She’s free of Serac’s strings and only looking out for her bests interest without being instructed. Yes, I realize she physically severed those strings with Serac at the base of Rhehoboam, but I find that line to solidify that she’s “back”. Maeve isn’t one for directions. You don’t put a saddle on a mustang, darling *Maeve Voice* Really looking forward to see her and Caleb partner up next season.

Dolores will never truly be gone. Not only are there still copies of her pearl that she made still out there, but also based an her statement when she was fighting Maeve we are led to believe that all the hosts are different versions of her

I think they mention humans are easy. Only 10,000 lines of code. So they can live on in simulations, but defects come when putting in a host body. Hence they have to combine it with an A.I. Bernard was the prototype.
