About a year ago my gf and I had a huge fight (about something stupid...no infidelity or anything like that). We hadn't talked in 3 weeks. I was super depressed, listening to this song on loop actually paying attention to lyrics and it inspired me to call her and reconcile. This last year has been the best time of our relationship. Thank you Weyes!!

@@ericackerman3695 I see key of E (this is in E) as yellow, triangular, and bright. I feel that E major is the key of consciousness. It comes from E-flat. A golden yellow. Key of "awakening" or "coming to awareness." And this sort of merges into a full yellow with E major. Clarity, and seeing things as they are. And I should mention that all of my theory of pitch psychology can be fond here at: _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_ for those interested.

It's interesting to see the post because I just made a video for Sia's "Broken Glass, which had no video for it. Which is surprising because it's one of he big "power-songs." // I'd love to hear yours or anyones else's reaction to it. It incorporates dance, and I think it is actually just as intense and Sia's other dance-themed famous videos. // It's the most recent upload, so it's right there on my page. The title is: Sia. BROKEN GLASS. A music video by Frank Montoya.

i can’t believe april 7 2024 is when i discovered weyes blood. not once have i heard her name or music. i tune in to needle drop, i follow sub pop records, i always try out obscure music recommendations; whether word of mouth or YT algorithm, but every time i reached out she wasn’t there. what a cruel twist of fate on my behalf. but what a treasure it is to have finally found her.

Chigirette, from one fan to another--I'm going to do something crazy. I'm a note-to-color music synesthete and I began to get really good a film as I began documenting my own sonic experiences. I was always stunned by this video because it's was literally the definition of minimalism. Visually. // And at first I was wondering if this was some sort quick visual eye-candy from Miss Weyes Blood just to compliment the video. As it stands this"electrified space shower" video has became somewhat identified with the ambient, relaxing quality of Weyes Blood's work. But, long-story short, all the fans were amazed when several years later Weyes Blood suddenly comes out with an actual full-fledged video for the song! And in that time I, myself, had been secretly planning my own video for the song. I'm just completing the video now, but could be a few days of testing before I air it on my own uTube ch. For the time being, if interested I'm attaching a link to a Beach House video that I've done, and the closing section is a sneak-peek how i'm going to do the Andromeda video. If the uTube link to _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_ channel doesn't work, you can copy-paste and search for: Piss Poor Planning. A film by Frank Montoya. Beach House "PPP" - A432Hz Take care!

Andromeda feels like a sonic journey through the cosmos, a celestial voyage that allowed me to escape the mundane and immerse myself in a world of emotion and introspection. The way she weaved her words and melodies together feels like a spellbinding narrative, drawing me into a story that's both personal and universal. I have to give a huge shout out to the singer of The Doublejumps for sharing this song with me, I'd recommend checking them out if you like Weyes Blood.

This song 'Andromeda' is absolutely phenomenal. With incredible ease, she has a silky smooth voice like Karen Carpenter. Natalie's voice is pure and almost magical. But what's truly amazing is her song writing abilities! These songs have depth and they are intricate. Nobody writes lyrics the way Natalie does. 'Grapevine' is another superb song of hers. I have never been grabbed and moved so suddenly, by any other singer- songwriter, instrumentalist like this, ever. She is one to watch and listen to. In an industry that is auto-tuned and untalented, this girl's got it all.

[Verse 1] Andromeda's a big, wide open galaxy Nothing in it for me except a heart that's lazy Running from my own life now I'm really turning some time Looking up to the sky for something I may never find [Chorus 1] Stop calling It's time to let me be If you think you can save me I'd dare you to try [Verse 2] Left the heart from the depths it's fallen through We all want something new But it can't seem to follow through Something's better than nothing Or so that I thought Now I know it's just one dream All these others gonna tear me apart [Chorus 2] Love is calling It's time to let it through Find a love that will make you I dare you try [Bridge] Crazy guy Think this is deep Think it's meant to be More than anything I can think of I'm ready to try [Verse 3] Treat me right I'm still a good man's daughter Let me in if I break And be quiet if I shatter Getting tired of looking You know that I hate the game Don't wanna waste any more time You know I didn't hold it up [Chorus 3] Love is calling It's time to give to you Something you can hold onto I dare you try

utter genius. Im really kind of lost for words at how beautiful this song is. Like Bach crossed with country . The yearning of the soul in a vast diner under nightime sky.

I’m late to the party on her. Listened to a Tim Heidecker Office Hours podcast and she had performed. And wow. That voice is everything. Then came across this song. Maybe listened to it 44 times in a row. Absolutely love her 60s-70s sound

A few months ago I fell in love with this dude, when I was around him or kissing him it felt like this song, I dedicated him Andromeda and he loved it too. For a month, I tried to be the best of myself so I could be good enough for him (I have BDP), the last week of that month he cheated on me with his ex girlfriend and he didn't even regret it. It's been three weeks and this song hurts like a hundred bullets passing through my heart. It's sad how I used to think he was the best person in the world and now he just treats me like shit even tho he said he loved me... I still miss him, I know he can be better than he is now. I hope he still remembers me with this song.
