The Plaintiff is just stupid for letting this all happen and getting high and drunk instead of paying off her debt. I don't think she wanted the car in the end when she realised the actual cost of gas and parking and insurance. That's why it "broke down" and she tried to get her money back. If you sell any vehicle, never, never, ever allow the purchaser to take posession of the vehicle until the full amount is paid and the title is transfered to them. They may seem nice, you may think you're helping them out, but until that title is transferred, that's still your car. If the purchaser gets into an accident or injures someone, the injured party is coming after you. And don't let them use your plates while the paperwork is transferring. Trying to help someone often comes back to bite you in the ass.
