Hey Chef AJ: Can you do a “short” on Dr. Fahey discussing use of Moringa for Cancer? 🙏 Thanks!
@artwillvideos10 ай бұрын
I have a moringa tree, or outcropping, cause it was ten 25’ tall stalks this year. i live in Florida, and it grows carefree, east! I use the fresh leaves in smoothies, salads, and stews. And dried leaves as tea.

In one of his vids he says that mornings is heat sensitive, so making tea may not be a good idea.

Aloha Chef AC ❤we use to put malungai (is what we call it in the phillipines ) in our soups .
@joelroberts99473 ай бұрын
We've started occasionally (a few times a week) using poweder to top our dogs food. She's a very food driven dog but she doesn't mind it at all. I didn't hear & may have missed it but if you're a "taster" type person and can't get past the taste of moringa, capsuled powder is definitely an option, especially if you're not digging the sugar in the gummies.

I put moringa powder in my green smoothie. Sprinkle on my green salads. I use about one teaspoon.

Dr. Fahey, I use moringa for general health and I have one question about what I do. I put leaves and twigs and chop up the green "drum stick", all in a pot with water, boil for one hour, strain, then drink the liquid. In doing it this way, have I destroyed important nutrients?
@ELEMITOLLC14 күн бұрын
Yes, you’re correct. Boiling moringa leaves, twigs, and the green drumstick for an hour can destroy some important nutrients, especially heat-sensitive ones like vitamin C. Extended boiling may also reduce the potency of antioxidants and other beneficial compounds. The best way to retain moringa’s nutrients is to use moringa powder instead. Moringa powder is made by gently drying and grinding the leaves, which helps preserve most of its vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. You can simply add it to smoothies, sprinkle it over food, or mix it into warm (but not boiling) water to get the most health benefits.

Moringa grows in Florida
@kardste811411 ай бұрын
I have a Filipino friend in Southern Midwest growing a Moringa tree in backyard. Though spouse says it’s not as powerful as one’s in Philippines. Wonder why not? But they use leaves all the time in cooking soups.

I am trying to like Moringa. I don't feel any energy, but the taste is just so rough to the point where I have to force myself to drink it. Matcha tastes much better plain. I gotta be honest, for me Spirulina and Moringa are both so hard to take. Even in smoothies I choke it down. Not a fan. Mine is certified organic as well.
@ELEMITOLLC14 күн бұрын
It sounds like you’re not alone! Many people find the taste of moringa and spirulina challenging to handle, even when added to smoothies. One great alternative is to take moringa in capsule form, which eliminates the unpleasant taste entirely. Capsules make it much easier to get the health benefits without having to worry about the flavor. Plus, since they’re swallowed whole, there’s no bad taste to contend with. Look for certified organic capsules to ensure you’re still getting a high-quality product!

Is it safe to use Black Cumin powder from India??(that doesn’t say “organic”. It came packaged like my Kuli Kuli Moringa powder, but the Fact that it isn’t organic worries me? Though I know 2 plants are very different. Thanks for having Lisa and Jed on Chef AJ.. as I now feel safer using the Moringa Powder from Kuli Kuli I had in my cupboard.
@SS-rl9bg6 ай бұрын
I have the Kuli kuli moringa organic powder. The exact package that's shown in the video. On the back, it has a warning disclaimer that it may contain chemicals, including lead, that's proven to cause cancer. I had some old moringa powder that's simply naked Certified Organic Moringa Leaf Powder in a white package with green writing. I just want to find a healthy product that's actually healthy, without chemicals, lead and pesticides.

I have problems with eyesight because of my diabetes. Moringa makes me see better but I think that it's because it lowers my blood sugar

I have low blood platelets. I use aloe, and fenugreek. I was at 115 and increased to 240. I get my blood tested every three months b/c I’m dealing with autoimmune disease, so I know it worked for me. This is informational only.

@captainadams75699 ай бұрын
I would add a chunk of fresh aloevera to my smoothies every day. I would cook a tablespoon of Fenugreek to either rice, quinoa, oatmeal, polenta, etc.I also sprout Fenugreek, but i raised my platelets prior to using the Fenugreek sprouts. @@twinkle533
