Batman was wounded in the process and fought through to the bitter end giving Flash and Diana enough time. A recording to the world and the league is played at the end hinting at solo games for each member. Superman gives the eulogy at his funeral and "Thank you Kevin" flashes on screen.

He either pressed through it with sheer will, Or anticipated the problem and came in prepared. An evil, mindcontrolled Batman who *retains* his characteristics minus the morals (as we see he is following the Squad, gathering intel and preparing for a confrontation), That man would've demolished them. Im saying this as a man that hates ''Batman can win anything with prep time!11!'' comments. But in this instance he should've. His enemies arent some juiced up aliens, gods or demons. His entire rogues gallery consists of genetically engineered soldiers (Deathstroke and specially trained assasins of different factions), Psychopaths with varius degrees in several branches of science (From bombs to subtle viruses), Trigger happy psychopaths who doesnt hesitate to kill for money. He is absolutely the ultimate counter to Suicide Squad even when he doesnt want to kill. Without morals, this man should hang them all by the balls. And Im not gonna talk about Superman, Flash or Green Lantern losing at all. Just Arkham Batman alone should be strong enough to demolish em. Nobody would've cared this much had they refrained from saying this game exists in the same universe where Batman fights and beats all those types of enemies I mentioned on a weekly basis.

It also would have been the sickest way to reveal that this was the new Batman game they had been working on the entire time, and simply sold it as a suicide squad game to throw everyone off their trail. They could have easily broken the internet, people would have lost their minds. Imagine opening to the usual home screen and selecting the new game + option, and then the screen goes black and you hear Kevin's voice saying the iconic words "I am vengeance...I am the night..." as a new title screen slowly fades in: "Batman: Divided We Fall" (a reference to the _Unlimited_ series when the JLA fought a fusion of Brainiac and Lex Luthor). I would have started crying.

Afterward, his mask is noticeably dented but he's otherwise fine & after waking up, he beats Twoface in one move from a position far away from where he was when he got shot. Meaning he immediately went stealth mode after waking up.
