Here's a theory: Gunn mentioned that Superman: Legacy will be taking place in a world already populated by supheroes.There's a good possibility this will be a world where the Justice League already existed, and the current team is a reduced version, like the comic book team before the Morrison run (hence the characters that show up in the movie). The Authority will step up to fill the void and that story will follow the rough outline of Morrison's Superman and The Authority series. One of the biggest reasons I think it could take place that far into things is that they're talking about a Batman movie with Damien, making their careers long-established. I know the common wisdom is you have to build this sort of universe from the ground up, but I don't necessarily think that's true, as long as you have good storytellers. He's clearly tackling this universe from a different angle, which is good.

that and the teen titans announcement makes me think that we are gonna get a universe like the one set in Young justice-with established heroes and a massive lore but wit more leacy based characters. And with gunn teasing the new frontier as a big culmination, that story works with an established universe with years of lore.

Great video Pals! I love your feedback to Mr. Gunn. Not much to add, except keep it PG-13 to not scare off normie parents. While I liked his version of Suicide Squad, parents are going to cringe at some of that content. There can be some R rated exceptions, just understand that’s going to affect your overall commercial performance and if it’s see them all or none, that could be a deal breaker.

Totally agreed. Keep things fun and family friendly for the most part. That doesn't mean themes can't be serious, it just means we don't need the blood and gore. There's absolutely a place for it but it's a tightrope!
