Vitamin C is sold in two forms-ascorbic acid and the mineral salt of ascorbic acid known as ester C. Although both forms of vitamin C are fine, ascorbic acid can increase the production of stomach acid, which can not only cause discomfort but can increase the absorption of iron from food. Since iron overload is a major risk factor for heart disease, it is advisable for most people to avoid excess iron. Packer, Lester. The 'floaters' are caused by broken blood vessels in the eyes. The spots you see are particles of calculated blood. In happens more frequently as you start to age.(Just like every other negative thing!😁)
@DoctorEyeHealth5 жыл бұрын
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 that's not really true. Broken blood vessels will leak blood into the retina or the vitreous humour (called a vitreous hemorrhage). The "floaters" are a breakdown of collagen within the vitreous gel inside the eye leading to an eventual separation between the vitreous cortex and the back of the eye (called a posterior vitreous detachment). But yes, these do tend to develop with age but can develop faster for some people.
