It seems like a mass "page" was sent out to all the pagers simultaneously. So there was no chance of geo-fencing or discrimination, they all went off at the same time. Also, in one of the detonation videos, it appears that the pager vibrates excessively and really grabs the victim's attention before exploding - maximizing the chance the victim was holding the pager in his hands or close to his face.

Pagers are not "harder" to track, they are impossible to track. The only way to make somewhat regional broadcasts, is by using some low powered regional transmitter. The transmitters would also be the only way of somewhat geofencing, where a transmission happens, as your pager receives the broadcast and interprets it, that thing has no clue, where it is located. Those manipulated pagers will most likely be rigged to trigger on a specific signal, maybe with a special message, maybe even have two ids, so they would work normally with one and go poof when the other id is used. Probably a combination of both, so that no one goes bang up by someone buttdialing that hidden id/message.

Not justifying it, but it seems like they must have tapped a supply chain directly used by Hezbollah given the recency of it. It is highly unlikely to have been done more than 6 months ago for fear of discovery. I imagine the mossad turned someone on the inside or convinced a Hezbollah QM to buy a cheap pager option/newer model for issue privately. Doctors etc have been using pagers in Lebanon for years so they are unlikely to be using the rigged ones unless they bought one from a Hezbollah fighter which would be very unfortunate indeed. There are 3 types of fire: 1. Elemental Fire (lighters, gas, candles, trees) Has a orange/red color. Mostly releases Co2/Co3 as white/grey/black smoke. 2. Chemical Fire (you will find this in labs and factories) Has all sorts of strange flame colors or smoke colors. Can burn invisible. Can emit toxins inside smoke. Can self-ignite. 3. Metal Fire

They might have done it like this: most pagers use a standard called POCSAG, each pager can have one or many 7 digit addresses maybe a few shared group addresses (for warnings, news etc.) and a Personal address. Pagers usually only listen on a single frequency (all transmitters for a network just use a time division scheme). So a pager will only react to a call on its frequency with some address that it knows. None of the Data is encrypted so it is easy to gather intelligence about addresses belonging to certain groups or individuals and the frequencys used. So if you just programmed the firmware to trigger the explosion when a magic word is recieved you could have fine controll about who you target because pagers on different frequencys or with different addresses will not react. Reception is also limited mostly by line of sight so if you send the messages from a plane you know ho far the signal will reach.

I know he said he doesn't understand explosives, but I want to clear up this misconception. Oxygen tanks are not explosive and oxygen isn't a flammable gas. Oxygen is needed to burn something and having a lot of it will speed up how fast it burns, but you need both a fuel and oxygen in order for it to burn. A high explosive detonates so fast that the heat it generates quickly spreads out and is unlikely to ignite anything that isn't highly flammable. If an explosive ruptures an oxygen tank, there would still need to be a fire burning nearby for the oxygen to speed up in order to cause additional damage.

Read from a newspaper that the pagers were supposedly supplied by a Hungarian company that turned out to be just a post box address. I reckon it was a shell company found by Mossad and at least that entire batch was had explosives planted in them. I highly doubt anyone carrying a pager isn't connected to Hizbollah in Lebanon. Nowadays you only have use for one if you are working in a location with very poor cell signal like a mine or an extremely remote region, unless you are worried about getting tracked. But since they are likely sending a detonation signal on at public radio frequency that probably carries to a geographically vast area, there are probably bound to be some cases where the intended target isn't carrying the device on their pocket and their kid or someone else picks it up.

Answer's simple. CHINA
@Mr.BimgusАй бұрын
Brother did you even watch the video? Why pagers are still being used was one of the first things covered.
@Tabako-sanАй бұрын
@@mursefaneca It isn't pure soap opera, because of the way hospitals are designed they can have many cell dead zones, the most obvious example being reinforced walls to prevent X-ray leakage. Pagers use radio signals so they don't have the same issue of getting blocked the way cellular service does. Also, it is much more efficient to send out a mass pager messages to hundreds of staff in an emergency than creating a massive group text for in and out staff and hoping they all get it. Also pagers only need to be charged once every two weeks or so, so you never have to worry about someone having a dead phone at a bad time. Buying pagers for staff is also immensely cheaper than work phones. Lastly, most importantly why hospitals still commonly use pagers is if cell service ever goes down in an emergency- or cell service is disrupted due to the amount of traffic- imagine how many people would die in an emergency if you had to contact staff across the building and texts and calls stopped going through, something pagers aren't vulnerable to. This is why over 80% of hospitals still use pagers. Some hospitals tried to move over to Vocera but they have really spotty wifi service which is why they're not adopted internationally due to the same dead zone issues and need for 24/7 reliability that pagers have.
