Thank you. As I’ve written I only wish the best for Moldova and I think a future with Europe and America either as part of Romania or not will only benefit Moldova. When I went back to Chișinău for the first time in 28 years in 2018 I could see the old, and the ruined, but also hints of things like the London Boutique hotel I think it was, Andy’s pizza etc and other places hinting at a Westernization of Moldova that will only benefit the youth. Less so in the countryside but there were a couple of western style gas stations and roads being repaired. Locals laughed when I told them but hey it was small and a start. I have one important request: my family lived a few generations in Chişinău. My grandparents and great and great great grandparents are buried there. I do believe we lost family members in the pogrom of 1903, 1905 and as a child I remember the anti-Semitic sentiments of some Moldovans towards those Moldovan residents who were Jewish. It happened to me as well. There is nothing new in that sense as some of this happened in America as well when we moved here and happens in every country all over the world (doesn’t make it right of course). In any case I’d like to see what Moldovans think of say Israel, and Jewish people in general? Do they know the history of the pogroms (which btw were instigated by the Russian imperialists who used to scapegoat Jews on a regular basis)Especially older generations but also young kids. I want to see how it compares to what I experienced as a child. To add to this I experienced zero attitude of this nature in 2018 although it wasn’t quite clear perhaps whether I was Jewish or anything. Again thanks for your work and I look forward to more of your videos.

I'm at least a little hopeful that the Transnistria problem might eventually solve itself. It will take years, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen. If Russia is encouraged by various means (including outright bribery, if anyone thinks of that) to withdraw their troops, there starts to be a chance of encouraging both sides to negotiate. The ideal thing might be if there could be a fair and honest poll or election (yea, right -- I know) to find out how many people really want to be a separate country and how many would like to be Moldavans/Romanians. I have no idea what the result would be, but let's be pessimistic and say that 80% of them wanted their own country, or at least own government. That still leaves plenty of room for Moldavans to say "ok, how about if you are a part of Moldova (for both of our country's security), but you keep your own government, and you send some elected representatives to be part of the Moldavan congress, to represent your opinion. But we'll take down the border guards, and people can move freely from place to place." It might not work, and would probably be a hard sell to the Moldovan government, but if you presented it to the citizens of both divisions, you might find a majority in favor of some such arrangement.

@@lwilton transnistria is NOT separatist by its own will, its just russian army which invented a pretext to keep Moldova in check

@@healththenopulence5106 I've heard that, but I personally have no information one way or the other. That's why I said the first step is removing the 1200 (or however many) Russian soldiers from the country, and *then* trying to take a vote. Remove the Russian armed presence, and about all the current government has to hold it's people is propaganda like Russia's own internal stuff. But I don't think it could work very well in a "country" less than a mile wide.

@@lwilton i think, it will not be solved by itself. there need to be a solution by neotiation. what to do with the russian soldiers? this can be just solved by negotiations. same with the russian foreces in georgia. and maybe in armenia in the future.

Yes, Usa did help us somewhat and has developed IT and entertainment industry. But unfortunately the good impression is broken by immature people on american sites, who like to joke and troll online, including lots of deranged and hateful people, who are often insulting people and demonizing each other by political parties. Especially people who pretend to be your pals online, but hypocritically use false accounts to incite conflict between people and accuse you of this, that is they put on masks of being nice to you, but their real conduct is very suspect. So in the end this leads me to not trust anyone online, from any country. So everybody should be alert with whom they communicate online.
