How many drivers are you dispatching bro. And what is your weekly working days. Thank u for the response

What is the heaviest single item your drivers would be comfortable putting in a dry van? I have a shipper that ships pallets of blanks that can weigh 10,000 to 12,000 lbs each, so a full load is 3 or 4 pallets. There are carriers that run this regularly but occasionally a driver will refuse even though the information is correct on the rate con. Are the drivers just being too picky or are the ones who run it being unsafe?

Depends how you load it and secure it. If you have 3 pallets that weigh 10k each, they should be placed as single pallets in the middle of the trailer or place them evenly apart. One in the nose, one in middle and one at 48 feet in the back. Each one of these would have to be secured, ideally nailed into the floor and double strapped in front and back of the middle and rear pallet.
